On the GS6. What's more of a deal breaker for you, no removable battery or no SD card?

No removable battery would be the biggest deal breaker for me. I personally like having a removable battery because it is more convienent and allows for higher capacity batteries to be put in.

No SD card is it. I have charged my BlackBerry from many many, many different sources, and no issues., but no SD card. That's just insane.

No SD card is a deal breaker for me. I'm heavy user, a game enthusiast and music lover. I also read lots of e-books. Non removable battery is fine if it meant longer battery life and better usage but no SD card, oh no!!

Don't really care about the non removable battery. As for the SD Card I'm just curious how people flash ROMs without an SD Card, all photos, app data, nandroids, etc. are lost...

I never remove batteries anymore, and with QuickCharge available it shouldn't be much of an issue. I generally prefer having a MicroSD slot so I can cache VUDU movies, but if I can get a 128 GB phone with UFS storage that'd do the trick. So I'm not concerned.

My concern about non-removable batteries is how they are going to hold up over time. I have the Turbo - fantastic battery life but what happens in two years? When will the battery start to deteriorate? We know it will happen at some point. I don't normally keep devices very long so it's really not an issue to me but how about for the people that keep the same device for the two year contract or longer?

Now if the manufacturer would have a two year warranty on the battery, that would give people piece of mind but that isn't going to happen.

As someone who used HTC phones for a while, this isn't really a concern.

Long battery life ensures that I never had to fumble with the hassle of carrying and constantly swapping extra batteries (we're not sure yet what kind of battery the GS6 will have though). And the deterioration isn't much of a concern either. Modern batteries are rated at a super high number of charge cycles; they'll go forever without significantly degrading. I never kept phones for two years even. If you keep it for a really long time, it's probably not much of a hassle to get it replaced if you really want to. You'll probably have to send your phone in for a bit, or maybe just a trip to your local carrier store.

Yeah but what about when you factory reset or wipe system, data and internal SD for a fresh ROM install? On my s5 when I do that it deletes everything on my internal SD.

How would you transfer it if you have no SD card lol? You can't transfer files from a computer to your phone in recovery mode.

Just do an advanced wipe and leave the internal storage that houses data intact.

Yes it is. All the data for apps and stuff is wiped but your personal files stay in place. There are different partitions for a reason. There's absolutely no need to delete your pictures for a fresh install.
