Question Phantom V Fold black dot on screen

hello,
i bought a Phantom V Fold 5 month ago, it has been good especially that i am usually a Samsung fold user but i wanted to use something else with a tight budget.
anyway a week ago i woke up to a black dot in the middle of the inner screen (bog one) i contacted the service center they said that the warranty is for 3 month only.
is this even logical ?
is this applicable world wide or only in my country ?
is there any alternative solution?

From what I can find on the web (which is mostly Lebanese sellers advertising the phone), it has a 1 year warranty there. Did you buy the phone brand new, and was it intended for the Lebanese market? Or was it used/refurbished, or perhaps intended for a different market (i.e. a "grey market" device)? Grey market devices might not have a valid warranty, since they were intended for a different country.

i contacted Tecno maintenance service they told me the screen warranty is for 3 month only !! eventhough when i bought it from a reseller they didn't mention that.
i need to send an e-mail directly to the tecno company if you help to do so..
 
From what I could find online, the screen should be covered for at least 6 months, and some sites say a year. But this could depend on where you live, and as mentioned before, if you bought this phone on the grey market, the warranty could very well be void. You never answered that question -- was your phone intended for the Lebanese market, or for some other market?

And since you bought it from a reseller, it may be a refurbished device, which could limit the warranty.
