phone resets 2+ times a day after latest software update 10 says ago

Hey all,

Every since the latest droid RAZR Maxx HD update my phone is resetting itself multiple times day. Sometimes when its just sitting idol next to me and other times the screen goes blue for 20 sec then it shuts off and restarts itself all over again ... any advice here? I mean I'm thankful for the update so I can finally send MMS via my home WiFi, but no so fun to constantly have my apps close and whole phone restart. (When responding, please keep in mind that while I'm quite technology user savvy, I know almost nothing about software!)

There are other reports of this problem. VZW is apparently sending new phones to users under warranty with this issue. I'd call them for sure.
