With so many of these battery issues coming up Kelly is there anyway you could reach out to the Samsung you speak of about these reports?
Yeah I could reach out to someone but I know what they will tell me..

The phone is on recall and people need to not use them, participate on the exchange. If there wasn't a recall going, this might be something they would really look at.

Also Samsung reads this forum, it is one of only three sites that they can connect to from work. I'm sure they are especially keeping up with the Note 7 forum.

Today something strange happened to my note 7 for the first time, I put it to charge and an hour and a half later it was still at below 50% I rebooted the phone and it charged fully within 40 minutes.
I just wouldn't be using these Note 7's at all. At the time of the recall, about half of the phones that had exploded, were in the US according to Samsung.

So my phone was able to fully charge from 0 to 100 in 45 mins. Common sense tells me it's battery issue then right? Even if a rogue app or something else running in background was responsible for sudden battery drain it wouldn't be able to charge fully that fast. Yes I used a quick charger but it's never charged that fast. Really hope replacement N7s alleviate my sudden concerns because I really like this phone. Hits all my buttons for my usage.

You are probably right but right now I don't have any other phone unfortunately, but I am careful about not charging while I'm asleep, even though I know there's still a chance something bad can happen but I sold my note 5 before this recall came to light and now I have no other phone.

Who is your carrier?

True. It's not for sale but the promo runs through October 9th. The says to me they have no plans on selling the N7 anytime soon. Just my opinion.

Battery acting funny? Probably a bad battery.

Get a loaner from your carrier and stop using your phone.

I just saw a commercial for " a free gear VR with the purchase of a galaxy device" isn't the Note7 a Galaxy device?
Yes, it is, but it's not for sale, so they can't advertise it in a promo.

The key words are "purchasing" and "selling". Those of us currently with Note 7s will be "exchanging" for them. There will be no purchasing or selling of the new Notes during that promotional period (at least in the USA).

I did look at Samsung's website. the state for any Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge device there. So I guess for now, the Note7 will not be included or considered.

This happened to me yesterday. I was at 43%. I was on a call by speaker, and my phone went dead. I have not received my replacement yet.

they gave us a watch and $25 gift card upon exchange. theres no way we are getting more

T-Mobile, I haven't gone to ask about a loaner because the t-mobile reps in my city are usually clueless so I Rather save myself the headache of dealing with them.
From what I've seen, you can trade in and get an S7 and them when the new Notes come in, trade that in for the N7.

You might want to ask @TMobileHelp on Twitter about that, not the regular T-Mobile account. Also if within the two weeks, you can return the S7 and if a store charges you a restocking fee to get the Note 7, you can get @TMobileHelp to credit that. They almost might tell you the restocking fee won't apply to you and note your account so that issue doesn't come up when it is time to take it back. I would ask T-Force (@TMobileHelp) over 611 or the regular TMO account. That department has the authority to waive restocking, return time, credit as much as they want, tell the stores what to do, etc. They also have more accurate info than the majority of 611 reps and store reps.
