Most have run into the problem with the SD card. Either format for data, or leave alone for media.
I've left mine for media.
I've found one software issue. I have a Samsung Laser printer and I was using Samsung Mobile Print.
However, I can no longer use the Mobile print app since it wants an SD card it can write to for the print queue. It cannot write to my media SD card. I feel that this is Samsung's error in assuming that all those who use Samsung printers would use Samsung phones or they didn't take into consideration about the SD card confusion.
I use the Hammermill app. It prints, no ads, I buy Hammermill paper/
