Question about grey signal bars

Hey guys got a GN about a week ago and am loving it so far, the only thing that is bugging me is the gry signal bars and icons at the top. From what I read it means that im not connected to google services? My phone has a good connection and what not, and I can connect to web and market but I just dont like the grey color(maybe im weird). Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance

try rebooting your device, the signal bars indicator "should be" blue usually grey means ints either not conneceted or is trying to connect.(if its grey with the bars showining grey too)

That's normal and happens on other Android phones when no data is being synced between your device and the mother ship. I took note of this back when I had DInc.

If you can call and get data then don't worry about it, in your case it sounds like you are just annoyed by the color. Google will fix the issue just be patient...
