Quiet Notification Sounds

I'm loving my Pixel XL, but one major annoyance is the very faint notification sounds (I work in a lound environment). The speaker itself is plenty loud when playing music and video. Is anybody else annoyed by this or have a suggestion for fixing it other than making my own tones and or amplifying them? I'm hoping for a fix with an OS update.

Agreed. I keep checking them to make sure I have it turned up. Seems oddly quieter.
