[RADIOS][VZW] Galaxy Nexus Radios and Installation Guide

Oohh didn't see that well seems to work alright did the updated boot loader come with the 4.04 roms?

Sent from my horizon gnex that now farts rainbows and jelly beans hopefully... get it...?

Negative, roms don't touch your radios or bootloader. You should just flash the full pack to keep them at the same level.. Like I said it's a good idea, even if it seems to work fine now. :)

looks like im heading back to 4.0.2 radios... those were much better for me than the official 4.0.4 ones.

those who are unhappy wth 4.0.4, are the leaked ones working better for you?

Can someone recommend which radios they use that does not have nearly as much signal drop when on LTE? I am currently using the 4.0.4 radios with the bootloader from the first page of this thread (NEW 5/1/12
4.04 Radios and Bootloader [CWM] - "IMM76K" - Google Release
Contains CDMA Version: FC04
Contains LTE Version: FC05
Contains Official 4.04 Bootloader
MD5: 251a34fd6bdb59458911315c712f0051) but still having signal issues.

That's what I'm using, and I have no complaints with the radio firmware. The hardware radios themselves could be better, but meh. I live in a fringe area, which isn't helpful. These radios have been the best for me of all the ones released, however. My only issue before was handoff... signal was never really that bad considering where I live, just data drops when handing off... which is totally fine since getting off the stock kernel and updating the radios.

Well ya for me that is a big issue. I drop calls and have horrible times when the phone switches between 4G back down to 3G.

If you live in or are currently in an area with frequent data handoffs then its much better to stick to 3G only (or wifi obv).. because the handoffs are slow and you'll see data drops, and additionally they bleed a battery dry. It's like that with every 4G phone on verizon, unfortunately.
