Rear camera reimagined..Front Facing...Not so much.

I only had to take a handful of pictures side by side with my pixel to decide to pass the 9+ on to my wife. Loved the screen and speakers though. Also, how is Samsung's portrait mode so bad still?

My honest opinion Samsung has always had terrible front cameras, but as someone who rarely takes a selfie it's never bothered me much.

The S9 photo is very soft (as expected). No detail at all. Not saying the pixels is any good either but both, imho, are crappy.

Yeah that's phone potagraphy, that's why phone cant be determined just by camera but the overall experience...
