Reason and fix for Rdio, Rhapsody, Sirius/XM, BitBop, et al failing over 3G after OTA

Mine is working fine after the update. Been streaming Octane for the past hour with no problems. HW004 for what its worth...
Add me to the list. The channels are updating as the songs change, but the content will not load and play. I just have a spinning animation on the screen.
I just downloaded the siriusxm app yesterday and it was working fine. I then got the update and since then have not been able to connect as well.
I called siriusxm and they told me to try uninstalling and reinstalling which I did but still no luck. I called HTC and they told me the same thing and they didn't have any issues or had heard of this problem and told me to try the same thing, which I told them I already had. The last thing they suggested was to try a factory reset but told me the phone would still have the same software upgrade when rebooted. Is there anyway to get the previous software without rooting? I just got this thing 48 hours ago and love it otherwise

All streaming audio apps are now broken for me post upgrade EXCEPT sprint radio.
Apps not working: aor player, winamp, antplayer.
And some other apps crashing: mail, pocket auction.
Damnit!
I ended up taking it back to best buy and just exchanging it since I just got it two days ago. I am not updating the software until this thing is definitely fixed. The main reason I got the evo was to use it as a dual mp3 player and phone. So I. Don't have to carry around my ipod touch and phone. Otherwise I love it
I am having the same problems. dont waste time with a factory reset because it wont work. A friend did a reset and re-installed the apps and they still wont stream. Hoping for a fix very soon.
Just spoke with sprint advanced support and they informed me this is a network issue that they are aware of. He said they will be pushing out a firmware upgrade to fix it within the next week. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
Was confused cuz I could stream last night but not today...realized streaming ( from both Sirius and live radio from retro radio app) works fine over wifi when I was local but not at all over 3G... This is getting to be a PITA with every update ( and I am NOT referring to the tastey middle easten pocket bread )
This is exactly why I never install any of their damn updates when they first put them out. There always seems to be multiple issues right out of the gate. 
Yup, although Sirius was good over WiFi when I went out today I found it wouldn't play over 3g. Pandora radio streamed fine however...
HTC Evo 4G received an OTA software update to 3.70.651.1 After this update, some apps do not stream (and in some cases, do not play cached music). Apps broken include rdio, thumbplay, sirius xm. Pandora doesn't seem affected.
The Android version remains 2.2 and the update was to the HTC Software version. Settings>About phone>Software information>Software number.

So, what's our next step on this? Spending good money on the app only to have sprint disallow my usage?
I did a nandroid back up on rooted phone of last OTA. I hope its fixes the issue and its not a radio issue.
anymore word on the fix to this? I just downloaded the siruis app and have the 7 day trial. I would buy it if they fix it to work over 3g. I listened to it this morning on wifi. Sadly it killed my battery. I took off charger at 815 and by 845 my battery was dead. Never happened like that before, usually get 12 hours at least.
