I placed the zip file on the memory card. Reset the device. Then booted into the fastboot and chose "Recovery". I looked like it was looking for something - but then just showed a phone with a red triangle and exclamation point....What am I doing wrong? I have an unlocked bootloader.

You boot to recovery, not choose recovery. Once you've rebooted and you see the menu where you can choose fast boot, move on to the next step (factory reset/data wipe)

I think I'm in the right menu. I hold Volume Down + Power. The phone enters into a menu which give me a choice:

After you select recovery, you will come to another menu, you want to select the one that says "flash zip menu". Select that, then another menu will come up to select sd card or intenal sd card. Make the correct selection there. Then you should beable to find the zip file

I saw someone mention in another forum that they were able to get android wifi tether for root users to work in infrastructure (AP) mode on this rom. Please let it be true so I can go out and get this phone TODAY!! Can anyone confirm or deny this claim? (BTW, I'm pretty sure you'd have to download the latest beta from the google code site, not the released one on the market.)

The other forum definitely pointed me to the Senseless ICS ROM, but do you know for a fact that CleanROM 2.1 ICS supports wifi tether in AP mode? If so, is that ROM as fully working as Senseless?

I'm also curious as to what would be different in each ROM that makes it work or not work. It seems that no GB ROM supports it, so I'm assuming ICS exposes the appropriate wifi driver calls, whereas GB doesn't?

I don't know all the technical details, but as MrSmith317 vouched above, wifi tether in AP mode does work on the CleanROM 2.1 ICS. Actually IMHO, CleanROM is more fully functional and less buggy than SenselessROM at this time. And according to my AnTuTu Benchmarks CleanROM performs a little better as well (6500 vs. 6200 on the average)

Man, I really wish I could afford to make such a donation, but the only way I can afford to get the Rezound is from the money I get out of the Bionic! I do plan to donate a little scratch to whomever's ROM I end up using for my daily driver, so hopefully that will help.

15 hours on a full charge. This was with wifi use, ebay app use, music playing both via bluetooth and via headphones, playing Tiny Tower, and browsing the internet on 4G and wifi at different times.

I'm loving this ROM and ICS, but I'm having serious battery life issues. Yesterday it killed my extended battery in about 7 hours of somewhat heavy use. :-\

I just reinstalled it after wiping data and cache, so I'll know soon if that fixed it.

What was your heavy use? I'd imagine streaming netflix will put a big drain on any battery haha

So, just got my Rezound today, and unlocked and rooted it a few minutes ago. This may be a silly, and simple question, but I've always used CWM to create nandroid backups, and install new ROMs. But CWM is not (officially) available for the Rezound yet. Did you guys use that Amon Ra recovery, or can you use the stock recovery, or what?

Amon Ra. Use the version that's linked in the beginning of the threads, do not use the newer versions there's an issue with them on the Rezound.

It was mostly 4G internet browsing, but the weird thing was that the battery drain graph was basically just a diagonal line, meaning it was losing power at the same rate whether I was using it or not. I seem to be getting more normal battery life after reinstalling though.

Got it. Used v3.10, and it worked fine. I performed a nandroid backup of my stock ROM, so I assume I can restore that if I decide to. I assume the Amon Ra backup I made will not be restorable through CWM, if I would want to change recoveries later?
