Are you? I will not know until tomorrow. I don't have wimax at home but do at work.

I just tried 4g at work. I typically have 0-1bars here. I am getting the same tonight. I think a speedtest would be pointless, the signal is so weak.
No someone on another forum said that 4G wasnt working. I just needed some one to test to make sure it does connect. Thats all.
I live in Fargo... I will see 4G when 8G is out!
LOL 8G, That's a lot of G's bro. On the wimax note I sure hope it isn't a case of lost wimax keys. When they are gone their gone for good. It will be a nightmare of Amon RA vs. Clockwork Mod all over again like it was with the OG Evo.

I used clockwork with no problems. I also flashed the 3d homscreen and wifi. But my question is whats so special about the 3d homescreen??? Is it supposed to be like stock or is there supposed to be a different effect??
Everything else is good thus far.
Same here I did not notice a difference

What did you do? Every time I enable the Sprint WiFi hotspot in a location with 4G coverage, the hotspot icon in the status bar shows "4G" above the icon for a few seconds, then 4G loses signal and the status icon switches to "3G." If I disable hotspot, 4G becomes active again.Just got to work. Wimax is up and running and 4G Tethering is working great![]()

On the plus side, 3G tethering with the hotspot is WAY faster and more reliable than it was with the Wireless Tether app.
Also - my battery life totally TANKED with this rom... I was getting fabulous battery life with the stock ROM, way better than my EVO 4G, even after doing the "Revolutionary" root. I'm 99% sure I haven't added any new apps after switching ROMs. Anyone else having battery life issues?
I have not noticed much change in battery life. Maybe a slight bit better. I have been using it more, my usage pattern changed after making it harder to judge.
I agree it seems very very unlikely that anything is "wrong" with the ROM. My question was more along the lines of asking if anyone knew of some setting that might get set to the "wrong" position after a factory reset / flash new ROM / restore apps & data cycle, some setting that might significantly affect battery life (I do have "always ON data" disabled.)If the battery life tanked with the ROM then you are doing something different than with stock ROM. I took about 100megs of applications that were eating away at the battery and connectivity of the device. This alone will give you slight improvement in battery and notably better memory mgmt. Im not saying you don't currently have poor battery life but I am saying its not the ROM that is causing it.

Yeah I always disable those syncs and set the power saver to very conservative (battery preserving) settings... somehow I think I'm missing something subtle. Anyway thanks for the suggestions.Ok, I see....
Hmmmmmm..... Do you have accounts and sync syncing a bunch of accounts like Facebook, Twitter? How about battery saver in power settings? Are you syncing weather? I dont know. I am just throwing out random thoughts...
