I was a flashaholic when I had my HTC Hero. Finally decided to root the 3D and this ROM is excellent. Keep up the good work.

On another note, I had issues on stock with the capacitive buttons not working most of the time and the auto-brightness not working at all. These seem to have carried over into this ROM. The buttons light up if I use the camera and stay on until the screen sleeps and then they don't work anymore. No auto-brightness either. These things aren't huge issues for me except they seem to be linked to my phone sensing when I have the phone to my face to make a call. To hang up I have to unlock the screen and instead of it waking back up when the phone is taken away from my face. Any chance this is a kernel issue?

Sounds like a hardware issue to me. You could always try a diff kernel, go with the no-lights kernel and report back. You can download it through the kernel manager app included in the ROM.

i flashed the no-lights kernal yesterday and not sure if it is the kernal or something else but i am getting really good battery life. been unplugged since 5:30AM and still at 49% battery with moderate to medium use today - mostly emailing, texting with a couple calls. me likey!!!

i am starting to really love it if i get this type of battery life! at 8 hours 50 minutes since i unplugged and still at 47% right now!! gotta LOVE it!!

You can download and flash from the built in kernel manager. No need to download to your computer.

if you have already flashed 1.3 - go into the "Kernel Manager Lite" app and "Load Kernal List" and no-lights is the last one. just download and flash it.

All I did was flash it yesterday. I don't know how to or if adjustments can be made. Someone else will have to help answer.

Hey scrosler. Just a quick question for you to possibly consider....when the next firmware update comes out and you incorporate any changes from it into the next version of CleanRom could you maybe do like a version 1.1.1, 1.2.1, and 1.3.1?

I love your roms and have tried the three versions of this one and I personally like 1.1 the best. Each version has had enough tweaks and more to almost call em different roms altogether. Maybe other users have found a alternate favorite version also?

Using the Google Talk video in this rom, the person on the other end can't see me. I can see and hear them and I can see myself in the little window. The other person doesn't see a video icon for me either. Doesn't matter if it is phone or computer. Any suggestions?

Flashed this rom today but having problems with setcpu it force closes once i click the button for it to auto detect the max speeds any suggestions or tips other than that everything works great

Did you try uninstalling set cpu reboot then reinstall set cpu? Also I get a bunch of reboots and instability on anything over 1.7

Yes cpu master is working for me right now i any thing over 1.7248 reboots me as well i suppose ill just use cpu master instead i like the rom other than that im still trying to figure out how to use the options that come with some of the different kernels running nolights 1.1.2

is there a way to change the color of the notification light in the next version of cleanROM? can it be a different color for different notifications - ie...red for email, blue for sms, etc? just curious. let us know. thx.
