Anyway to turn off the update notification? I'm on 2.0. I also got a boot loop when trying to change kernels, but that probably wasn't rom related.

I cant possibly see how you are getting the update notification on 2.0. I have not seen it. Wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery. That should fix it. If not do full wipe and reflash ROM.

There are no kernels compatible with the new build except freezas. HTC Has to release the source code for the kernel devs to do there thing.

Service Pack 1 for CleanROM 2.0 is now available via the built in ROM updater.

This adds Hotspot Hack by leoisright! Free wifi and USB tethering again!

REMEMBER ROM Updater is still beta and you cannot flash from the application. Download SP1 and select Apply Later. Reboot into recovery and flash zip. It will be located at /CleanROM/downloads/

I like the Animations and smoothness of it..

But half of my apps won't install, saying "Insufficient space" which is BS, I have over 800MB.

I wiped everything, I don't have apps on the SD.. I'm not sure what is going on.

Boot into Recovery and wipe your cache and dalvik. Then try again. First, I would get Cache Cleaner NG from the Market and it'll keep your cache cleaned. Haven't had any problems since I did that.

Typical error message when the cache is corrupted. Not a biggie... See below...

Boot into Recovery and wipe your cache and dalvik. Then try again.

Well I wiped it many times before installing the ROM. This time I wiped, installed, wiped, booted up, didn't sync google, booted recovery, wiped cache, rebooted, added google, and had to painstakingly install every app I had manually..

But that seems to have worked, at least.

When the phone tries to download everything on its own that you had before? That was an issue. When I rebooted into recovery, wiped the cache again, and booted up again, that's when I added the google account. Unfortunately it wasn't doing the ol' auto-download of apps this time so I had to add them all myself (thank you AppBrain)

For some reason it didn't dawn on me about the kernels not being compatible with the update. I got the update notification to clear by just opening from the notification bar and hitting cancel. Of course it was that east. So far the ROM has been buttery smooth.

Start ROM updater app
Press phone Menu Button and select configuration
Select Addon/Theme Update Settings
Select Manage Addon/Theme Servers
Press phone Menu button
Select Update Featured Addon/Theme Servers and select yes
Themes by scrosler will show up, press back button 3 times.
Press phone menu botton and select Check now
Theme list will be populated
Download theme of choice
NOTE: The application is still in development! At this time you cannot automatically flash the download from inside the app! When the download completes select "Apply Later" Now use the phones power button to boot into recovery and flash the downloaded theme. It will be located in "CleanROM" Make sure you do not select Apply Now because it wont boot into recovery yet!!.

This app was developed by puertoblack2003 and was ported with permission to CleanROM!​

Just flashed.. i noticed i don't have gps status icon anymore... is there a way of getting it back??? at least the GPS on icon.. right now i don't have any.. other than that everything seems to be working properly.....

lol you flipped the battery back to the right direction... love it...

Is there a problem with the 4G wifi hotspot? I can get 3G but 4G doesn't work, it'll start but once I connect from laptop it loses internet access and 4G loses signal. I also can't get the wifi tethering app to work either now. Used to work before.

Also for people with the gameloft games that need their games back, I just booted stock first, backed up the 3D Games app, which has the proper link redirects. I've tried it out on multiple ROMs and sends me to gameloft wapshop site with the proper info so I can redownload my games.

I follwed ur Rom Updater configuration steps and once I hit the check now it says updates available in the notification bar in the top right and then goes away. Do I have to have display all addon/theme updates and display all rom updates checked off in the config settings?

How about adding recovery as one of the power options, or adding the free quickboot app to the rom? Just makes it simple to get into recovery to flash a zip. Nice work on this one by the way, very responsive. The awesomeness continues.

I can't tell if it's faster or not. I think all the VERY smooth transitions/animations make it seem like that's the case. It's amazing what smooth animations do for speed perceptions.

Now that I've gotten a lot of the configuration annoyances of a fresh rom done, I'm able to enjoy things. It's looking pretty good to me. It's lame to say but I really missed overscroll

How about adding recovery as one of the power options

It's there - if you pick Reboot then Recovery is a choice
