How about adding recovery as one of the power options, or adding the free quickboot app to the rom? Just makes it simple to get into recovery to flash a zip. Nice work on this one by the way, very responsive. The awesomeness continues.

I follwed ur Rom Updater configuration steps and once I hit the check now it says updates available in the notification bar in the top right and then goes away. Do I have to have display all addon/theme updates and display all rom updates checked off in the config settings?

Nah, make sure you press the Add/Theme button in the middle. There are no ROM updates but you should be able to get the themes.

Is there a problem with the 4G wifi hotspot? I can get 3G but 4G doesn't work, it'll start but once I connect from laptop it loses internet access and 4G loses signal. I also can't get the wifi tethering app to work either now. Used to work before.

Also for people with the gameloft games that need their games back, I just booted stock first, backed up the 3D Games app, which has the proper link redirects. I've tried it out on multiple ROMs and sends me to gameloft wapshop site with the proper info so I can redownload my games.

Built in Hotspot hack does not work with 4 G on any custom ROM at this time. Give it more time and someone will figure it out.

I can't tell if it's faster or not. I think all the VERY smooth transitions/animations make it seem like that's the case. It's amazing what smooth animations do for speed perceptions.

Now that I've gotten a lot of the configuration annoyances of a fresh rom done, I'm able to enjoy things. It's looking pretty good to me. It's lame to say but I really missed overscroll


It's there - if you pick Reboot then Recovery is a choice

Overscroll is there. That and screen animation make this the bomb, lol

Just flashed.. i noticed i don't have gps status icon anymore... is there a way of getting it back??? at least the GPS on icon.. right now i don't have any.. other than that everything seems to be working properly.....

I spent two hours trying to get the GPS icon removed from home screen but leave it in the applications. Its tied in with the same mods for Quick Settings. Its a terrible mess. Its staying the way it is! lol

Dang, not sure If I was on 1.2, or 1.3 but all of a sudden last night my phone started doing random reboots, and lockups! Copying 2.0 to my SD Card now. Fingers crossed this thing will solve my random reboots. Getting annoying.

A few minutes ago when I hooked it up to USB, the whole thing just froze. I had to pull the battery. (screen could be turned off / on but couldn't slide the lock ring)

One thing I have noticed, is since this started, I have ONLY been in digital roaming. Normally here at home I have good Sprint Service...

Ummm... Hnmmmm.... What kernel were you runing before and did you wipe?

You will not have this if you do full wipe and reset. Do not restore anything from anyback up app like titanium.

I only did the cache / dalvik wipe, not a complete system wipe. Guess I'm about to do that and reflash.

Huh? Are you on 2.0 Final? If not, please do complete wipe / factory reset and flash 2.0 Final then reinstall you apps. Do not restore ANYTHING from ANY back up.

Follow these steps and I assure you that you will not have any bugs.

To freeze and remove unwanted apps in system.

To be honest with you a very small minority of people have the issue you described when restoring from back. Some apps are just NOT capable of being restored from back ups across ROM changes. When you do restore from back up you are taking that chance. I am recommending that you don't restore from back up because something is wrong with the back up or the compatibility and / or capability of the application to accurately restore the app(s) in question. Im not syaing its something you are doing wrong, I am saying its whatever you are doing is just not compatible. Maybe its the Titanijm back up, maybe the app is very picky, etc.

But I can tell you with 100% certainty, its not a ROM issue.

I hope that clears it up some for you. If not let me know and I will try to explain it in more detail. At work right now so posting time is very limited....

When I first got accounts set back up on the device, it tried to re-download all of my apps from the market. I told it to go manual and not auto do it. Now when I go in to the market, it won't show all of my previously installed apps, only the stuff I have installed since the recent flash.

In some ways I like it, because I don't want to re-install everything I downloaded before...

That is proper operation if you set up not to auto download. You can log into market.android.com and push the files OTA without touching the phone. Thats what I usually do. I hate the auto restore thingy. Some people love it.

So I've been playing around with 2 ROMs, cleanrom and synergy. Synergy right now has some issues but is still being worked on so we'll have to wait and see. But cleanrom has a lot less going on and runs a lot cooler for me. I even underclock for battery life.

As for the mention of the auto-install from market, I'm one of those that like it.

Cleanrom has 3G wifi hotspot working at least.

Synergy has the new superuser beta, which I like because I can allow all root requests silently and no logging.

I kinda like Synergy's 5x4 apps grid, some think it's too small... and I definitely like Synergy's battery icon.

Cleanrom's animation is kinda cool but after a day or 2 I don't care for it and turn it off.

Hopefully there will be options in the future to pick and choose what you like.

Also can anyone find a way to get WiFi Tether app to work again on these roms -.- I keep getting WiFi interface error. I really miss 4G wifi tethering

EDIT: Oh... and I'm sticking to Cleanrom for now... I like my phone running cool and saving juice.

I will have to look into that. First report of an error of this nature. I cant test till ate at night due to work but maybe someone else on here can try to replicate.

I don't know if wiping the Dalvik Cache will help, I didn't do it when I first installed the CleanROM 2.0 I just wiped data and did a factory reset. When I tried installing all my apps back from the market, a few of them could not install because the phone was out of room when I also had at least 800 mb left of internal storage. So I went into recovery and went back to my stock ROM and then just used ROM manager to install the CleanROM from SD card with only wiping the Dalvik Cache and all my apps were still on my phone and all worked just fine. I have switched between about three different ROMs using this method without having any problems. Hope this helps.

Did anyone see any issues with WiFi? I have a small issue byut no one else is reporting it on XDA. They all say WiFi is fine. I think I may have hosed my baseband to a point? Or my Router is dying. I dont know but I am really frustrated :'(

Weird the wipe still not working.I get an error when I try and save a photo from a mms.maybe the op has a soultion after work...

Just my standard I have to use WiFi fixer when I connect to my Wireless N router. on my G. No issues.
