MIUI v4 is ICS.
Ah that's what I thought. I may just stick with this one since GB is reliable on OV phones. And how does the battery Life compare to IHO Backside?

What would be the recommended way to upgrade from previous version? Just asking because everyone has their own way of doing this. Thanx gannon for this. Haven't been keeping up with things sorry lol.

Hold up, so you're trying to restore your apps? I meant to use a batch Move Apps to SD. Is this what your doing? I'm confused... :)

I was trying to restore my apps and it wasn't letting me restore all of them so then I tried to download the apps in the market and that is when it told me my memory was to low but my phone shows my as having over 600mb of memory left.

I think if you just install it will work, I'm not sure, wiping it and installing should also work now

From my personal experience the battery life with this Rom is way better than backside.

Well that's good. I like the themes I am seeing over at XDA so this is one reason I want to switch.

This is a market problem from google, it happens almost all the time.....do this:

This is a Market issue, not rom.
Try moving [deleting not moving] the 01mvdalvik file out of init.d, located here: /system/etc/init.d/01mvdalvik, clear market cache and data, reboot recovery, wipe cache/dalvik_cache, reboot.

Use any root explorer app and do what the quote says

hmm idk then

also gannon, settings don't work when you wipe and flash the new update :(

Re: [ROM][3/29/12][2.3.7]MIUIgb! By team A.P.P

I fixed settings from a new wipe and flash!

gannon: You have to replace everything in the /apps folder from the /apps from the 3/23/12 update also add and replace over the files, do not add over the folder.
All 63 apps should be in there and 59 should be replaced from the 3/23/12 update

Idk what happened to battery indicator though 0.o

I think there's probably not enough space because there isn't enough in the internal storage. The SD card probably has 600mb, unless you've swapped your internal storage. So, you'll need to just do the batch Move Apps to SD, and then continue restoring. I've had this happen before.

Remember the systemui.apk. also, within updates, comes different apps. Not always a good idea to replace. ;)

I know, sometimes it doesn't boot if you do something like that....so it's just systemui.apk that needs to be replaced? I think that's correct because that's the FC I would get everytime I tried to open settings with Menu key

Settings is the problem your saying, so try just try replacing settings?

I keep trying each update, but I still have the same problem: phone reboot on USB connect. I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I really want this ROM to work.. :(

I stated the wrong app I used for my memory management it's called data2sd, it integrates the SD card in with the internal memory so the phone thinks it has more internal memory but after I reboot my phone and tried to reinstall the market the radio stopped workin.g so I went back to IHO for now, but here's a pic of what I meant by the amount of internal memory I have.
