[ROM][5/23/12][4.0.4][AXI0M] CROSSBREED and PATIENT ZERO

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Reverted back to Crossbreed V5 (francoKernel) that I was initially running. Running 100% fine now.

Try running the Crossbreed M2 that went up last night. It's a stable build and is running the latest Franco kernel (R98), so your phone should like it better. You'll get all the benefits of the ROMs up to, and including V13.

Again, wipe everything and do a system format beforehand. Also, absolutely make sure you untick any settings like "set at boot" in your previous ROM before booting into recovery. I've found that to be critical for me.

Mastur Mynd is working out some compatibility issues. You can grab the app / follow the progress here: MasturMods Settings - MODS - droidHIVE Forums

AFAIK it's only issues were in the battery mods displaying the correct percentages... everything else should work if it did before... but I'm just guessing. Make a backup, try it out, any issues just revert to your backup.

I can't say that I know what the exact issues are, but I couldn't flash a single ROM until I disabled MM. I haven't tried to install and run it after the flash is complete to see if there are any issues then. Maybe something I should test...

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I just installed Axiom crossbreed M2 today with the 4.0.4 radios (Getting Started Package) and am having some issues. Currently whenever I attempt to download something from the market, I get a pop-up that says Error in purchase. I have all of my apps downloaded it just wont let me download any new ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Were you setup previously with Google Checkout through your Google account? If so, it'll want you to login and/or set it up again.

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I just discovered something new tonight that I'm glad I did before it was too late. After I get each new ROM configured I routinely make a backup and take them off line and archived. Before I take them off I always add info to the folder they're in so I know exactly what it is, instead of just a date and time (i.e. Axiom Patient Zero V14 Configured). Well, tonight something went whacky in fastboot and any selection would freeze it. So after a battery pull, I got back in and attempted to restore the last backup in my customized folder and got an md5 mismatch. I had another backup of it still in the original backup folder, and was able to restore from that. So apparently, if you alter the backup folder (as I have for my pile of other backups) you'll get a mismatch and nothing more than wasted space.

the only thing i use rom manager for is backups - bc i can name them before it boots to recovery.

otherwise i would have no idea what was in them. :)

lucky to catch that before you really needed one.

When I setup the phone again after installing the Rom my google account was setup successfully and also my gmail account is setup through the market. However, everytime I try to download anything it says "Error Processing Purchase" In a white popup.

Has anyone else had the problem of after installing this Rom having troubles downloading stuff from the market? It wont let me download anything. I was able to download all of my previous apps one time, but now it just says "Error Processing Purchase" In a white popup. I am synced with my google account and everything. Don't know what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

are you on patient zero or monolith?

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I am running mono 1 and it seems that it is more laggy than when I put it on my old phone. COuld there be a reason for this?

take a second or two for screen to appear after pressing power button, half of screen still on when i exit a screen

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I am running Axiom Crossbreed Monolith 1 overclocked to 1350 and loving it. No problems at all. I am not undervoltaging because I have the Seidio Hunchback battery. I came from the leaked 4.0.4 and this is much nicer. Been running it for several days with no issues. Any good reasons to upgrade to M2? I know it has a newer Franco kernel, but like I said, I have a huge battery so I'm not really that interested in different governors, etc., I just run full out balls to the walls and it gets me through the day just fine.

If you make the backup with ROM Manager, are you able to restore it in Clockwork Mod Recovery?

I guess you already cleared the cache and data from the market app?Still doesnt work?

Re: [ROM][3/20/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Yeah the only difference is you can rename it before it backs up.

Something else. Whenever I backed up with Clockwork Mod, I added the description to the folder name by tacking it onto the standard date/time. If I just take out the description and return it to the standard format, and place that inside a new folder with a description, the original retains all of the information so when selected for restoration, it recognizes it and restores the ROM.

I discovered this because all of a sudden I experienced exceptional lag time with every part of V14, so I restored back to Crossbreed M2, which is more responsive at the moment. V14 has a lot more apps installed and configured than M2, but I'd hate to think that just loading up on apps, not necessarily multi-tasking, that it would slow things down that much. I'm trying to refrain from overclocking, if possible, because I don't want to over task the processor or have it running hotter than normal, not to mention the shortened battery life.
