[ROM][5.5.11] BAMF Remix 1.6 - NOW IN ROM MANAGER!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Read some of the thread and was able to figure it out using Root explorer.

Thanks!

Two methods, either create the widget.txt on you computer and adb push widget.txt /system/customize/. You'll need to mount your phone as r/w first which can be done in the das BAMF toolkit under System Settings. Second option is to use something like root explorer or super manager to edit the file on the phone itself.

I'm not saying there's a right or wrong way to do it. Doing it manually in clockwork just gives you a better understanding on how things work, instead of letting an app do it all for you. The developers also put out patches/fixes to their roms periodically, and those are not usually available through rom manager.

Since you've already downloaded the remix in rom manager, I would just flash it through there for now. Check both boxes to wipe data and dalvik cache.

If you have any apps, back them up with Titanium

Thanks, I did that and am up and running. This ROM is beautiful!

One more. I noticed that the "ding" sound when selecting the volume level (volume buttons) is gone. I know some might not like it but I do and would like to know if there is a way to get it back?

Thanks.

Is there a way to calibrate the battery (i.e. app)? I have a feeling mine is off.

You can wipe battery stats through ClockworkMod Recovery, or you can download BatteryCalibration from the Market. :)

With the delay on the update I think I am going to give up on VZW and root my TB. I see the auto root and unroot sticky...anyone had good success with this? Unroot just as easy if you need to return to stock?

yeah, it's a piece of cake rooting and going back to stock. Was on das BAMF 1.6.2 and decided to unroot and revert back to stock to see if that might fix that eHRPD problem. I used the manual unroot method provided by jcase but used DXc's auto-root method to root and restore my BAMF backup. Everything worked flawlessly and I believe he's tweaked it even more from the older copy I had already downloaded.

just a question

I was just wondering but does this have parts of gingerbread or froyo in it. Also since this now on Rom manager would Ibe able to go back to stock sense if I wanted to?

I am having issues with Backup Assistant. I can load my contacts just fine but if I reboot or at the next scheduled backup time, it will start duplicating all my contacts, then want to link them. Big issues.

So, how can I erase backup assistant once I download my contacts?

If I want to put the original sense lockscreen on the BAMF 1.6.2 ROM, hpw do I do that?

BTW..Great ROM!!!
