Ok I used decks Rom but I didn't like the theme. Atm I am on rooted stock , was wondering would this be a good Rom for battery ? Compared to Decks Rom. Also what would be the best kernal for this Rom ?

How do I overclock and underclock with this ROM? What's the max processor speed and minimum processor speed I should clock my processor to?

If you don't like the theme on Deck's, you can always download one of the launchers and run it. ADW, GO, or Launcher Pro will all work. I used to run ADW but switced to GO Launcher as you have unlimited screens, and unlimited launchers tray icons. Once you get used to it, it's handy. Kernels are all preference, but look at everything in these phones as a pie...The bigger you make one slice, the smaller the other slices get. I personally stick with the kernel that comes with the ROM as I've been screwed every time I think I find one that will work.

You'll need an add-on like set cpu from the market, or hunt around the xda, root, or ROM sites for one. Be careful though...You can screw your phone up really bad if you're not careful. I don't overclock, but will underclock 20% of the max from time to time. Any slower and stuff quit working on mine. I didn't go any faster because of no cooling fan. I didn't want to melt my phone in an extended game of angry birds. I'm stock now in the overclock field.

I have a few issues when I flashed this ROM. When I first did it I was getting all kinds of force closes. No problem, I went back and wiped all the data, cache and dalvik cache. I re-flashed the ROM and it was running perfectly. Then, I went to change the lockscreen in the menu and changed one of the icons to g-mail. After I closed out and the phone went to sleep, I turned it back on and all of the force closes came back.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

I restored back to the stock ROM for now and everything seems to be fine. This was my first time flashing any ROMs so it simply could be user error.

Are you running any kind of a task killer or CPU manager? What apps do you have loaded? I was running an unnamed ROM once that locked up once I got all my apps loaded. I wound up having to load all my apps over a 2 week period to figure out which one wasn't playing nice. Once I found it I uninstalled it again and never had an issue. Apps and ROM's never seem to work on ALL phones the same way. Sorry for your issues as this is a pretty neat ROM. Another thing you could try is when you wipe the cache, davlik, etc...wipe it 2 or 3 times like another poster mentioned...It seems not all wipes are equal...

No, I'm not running any sort of task killer or CPU manager.

I'll try wiping again a couple times and not load my apps and see how it goes.

I should also add, I switched from Clockworkmod to AmonRA and everytime I boot into recovery it asks if I want to start update. I hit yes the first time as whatever directions I was following said to; but it didn't say anything about it coming up again. Should I hit yes to let it update? I had been choosing no after I chose yes the first time.

Edit - just wanted to update. I wiped everything twice and re-flashed the ROM. Everything is working great so far. I will use Titanium Backup to restore some of my data and apps and see what happens in a bit.

Really liking the look and feel of this ROM so far. One question:

Does it appear to anyone else that "Power Efficiency" mode actually burns battery faster than normal?
After my first recharge after flashing, I tried this mode, and battery went from 100 to 75% in about 20 minutes of no use other than checking messages. Turned this mode off and everything seemed to normalize after that.

How do you get the original single bar pic and how do you put it on there

do you still have the PC36IMG.zip still on the root of your SD card? if so thats why its always asking for you to update.. if it is, just delete it from your SD Card and all will be good

Yup, that's all it was. Thanks.

Wanted to update my status on this ROM. I wiped everything twice and reflashed it. Everything was working good. I then restored most of my apps with Titanium Backup - still no problems. Then I restored my user data and that's when some of the force closes occured, but it still wasn't as bad as the first time. However, it seemed like the ROM rebooted (much like the sense reboots) and that's when all of the force closes came back making it nearly impossible to use.
I was getting the sense reboots which is why I rooted, so I'm thinking that could be part of the problem since this is a Sense-based ROM. I guess it could also be some of my user data not being compatible with this ROM too.

I flashed this ROM last night and really liked it. After restoring/linking contacts and restoring a couple of apps via Titanium Backup, I went ahead with V6 SuperCharger and SetCPU. But when I rebooted, all my app icons that I moved to my SD card showed as generic Android icons, and I lost 80% of my contacts' pictures (it was like the reboot unlinked my google/facebook contacts).

I read around somewhere that it's not uncommon for the generic android icons to show after a reboot so I let my phone sit overnight and figured my apps and contacts would be normal this morning. I woke up and nothing changed. Should I be relying on a dedicated App2SD type app instead of Settings>Manage Applications to move my apps to my SD card? And what about my contacts?

whats the prefered way to install this properly?

also does anyone know if it supports N-wireless?

thanks in advance!

I can answer the wireless-n question now. The answer is YES, it supports wireless -n. I had to find an open network on wireless-n since my router at home is apparently bulletproof and will never die. I have a b/g router, and it is 6 years old, running 24/7. I've never had a router live this long before.

I've been running this ROM for a day now and have only run into one problem, which I may have caused myself. Market is not working, it worked yesterday but is not working any more. I think I may have deleted it somehow, is there anyway I can just download it to reinstall it. (Market, that is). I cannot find how to clear the cache, that is why I think I might have deleted it.

Yup, noob. to rooting.
Thanks in advance.

Nevermind. I found a download link to megaupload and dl the apk put it on phone and installed that way. Market it now working.. Thanks anyways... Tom.
