Don't know if anyone noticed it but on the lock screen u can slide the notification bar. Kind of beats the purpose of having a lock screen. On aokp alpha 8

Not really. I like being able to respond to texts and notifications w/o having to unlock the phone. And it's not likely u will press a button and then slide ur bar and then press something else.

Google added it so users can get to their notifications a lot quicker.

Potential **short-term** MMS fix, need testers

Be sure you have applied the 3G fix mentioned earlier in this thread.

Download GoSMS from the market.

In GoSMS, go to Settings > MMS settings, check Fill APN configuration manually, set MMSC to http://mmsc.vmobl.com:8088/mms? MMS PROXY = 205.239.233.136 and MMS PORT to 81

Use that app to send an MMS, to yourself is fine, and see if you get it back.

There is already a permanent fix for mms. Gosms isn't it. Apns-conf.xml is

I'm running the Cold As Ice ROM now, I don't have the one for Quattrimus anymore, it's been wiped.

I extracted the file from the fix in that alpha 8 aokp rom with fixed 3g/mms. Maybe a simple copy paste reboot would fix?

Just looked at the one on my phone now, the Virgin Mobile US settings are the same, but yours contains info for a ton of other carriers. I don't see how that would make a difference?

I think by default they are just in there. Not sure why but it ignores everything but Virgin US

Alpha9 is released. It's not terribly well tested but I'm tossing it out there anyway. Let's see how it goes.

Changes:

Synced with sources a couple days ago.
Applied 3G fixes to both ROMs.
MMS fix should be applied to CM9, I don't think it stuck on AOKP.
USB storage works (tested on AOKP)

I was looking into bluetooth audio for some time today. Got some clues but no fixes yet.

AOSP is still not quite starting up. I took a bunch of stuff wholesale from AOKP (which in turn got it from CAF). I'm sorting out the wreckage but it shouldn't be long before it's running.
