[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

looking good! I'll be flashing this today right after I check out CNA, unless CNA completely blows me away that is. I'm not a fan of AOKP not having their lock screen button abilities yet (skip track, torch) as I actually used them rather frequently, but progress is being made so I cant complain.

I'm sure CNA will update with AOKP's latest ROM Control post haste :).

Love it so far!

Is anyone noticing excessive SwiftKey lag when using this ROM, by chance?

Swiftkey is always a bit laggy for me in some situations, regardless of rom.

I'm noticing a weird issue. Chrome browser won't sync my address bar auto suggests. First time it has refused to do that with any Jelly Bean ROM. It says it is syncing but when I start typing it clearly is not.

Try clearing cache/data in that. Not really a ROM issue, but a Chrome issue.

Yeah still not working. :( Not the end of the world. Just kind of annoying.

The odd thing is that it is clearly building auto suggests. If I start typing a URL the second time then it auto fills. It also has grabbed bookmarks just fine.

Try uninstalling then reinstalling it?

Not a complaint, just a question... Before I go and set up a sound profile manager, does anybody know if the devs plan on adding a sound profile feature in the future (similar to the long-press power button profile chooser seen on JellyBelly)
Just wondering...

Thanks,

Matt!

That's a CM feature. Don't recall if they were in the ICS version, though.

speaking of CM.... i miss the CyanPing sound, and the breadth of ringtones in CM10 that build 1 seems to be missing

otherwise, so far so good...i missed the unicorn

Hmmm...

Even after a clean wipe and fresh install, navigation still repeats the wrong direction constantly. Every 10 seconds, the voice tells me to turn at the wrong street. Even if there is. I place to turn.

Oddly, the street or is having me turn at is from directions that unused several days before the clean wipe.

Makes me think there is something stored in Google server that is contributing to the problem.

Gonna go wipe cache.... Hey wait, maybe the TiBu brought that issue over. I'll see.

Ok another newb question. It seems to me that the ROM Control and the Franco Kernel app are conflicting on the CPU settings. Is there a trick to setting one to take control? I set the Franco one into power save mode and if I go into the ROM Control app it sets things back. At least that is what it appears to be doing.

Edit: A reboot and fix permissions seems to have resolved this. ROM Control now appears to be acknowledging and not changing the settings from the Kernel App.

OK total newb question but what does the swagger button do?

Keeps your pimp hand strong... Long press the button. Its just a Toast (pop up message) mentioning swagga. Funny thing, once its turned on, you can't turn it off ;)
