[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

I like your screen shot. What do you use for the text only buttons? Minimalist Text or similar?

Thank you! I used Simple Text to create the icons. I made my own template and used a Roboto font pack I downloaded to ensure that the fonts match up system wide :).

Stupid question... I've actually never dirty flashed before, but am thinking about doing it from build 1 to 3. Since I'm not wiping data, do I need to do anything special about Google Wallet to make sure it will still work afterwards? I'm thinking with the secure element. I'm using the latest version.

You shouldn't, no. 2defmouze will know better though.

Should be fine..

I'm liking the new quick message. That's something cm10 had that I've been missing.

I assume the Quick Messaging only works with SMS and not Google Voice texting?

I'm hoping one of you wise people in here can give me a hand and a quick answer. I'm still on AOKP's ICS build M6. At first I didn't want to flash a JB rom because of all of the bugs, etc. and then I got too busy to do it after the roms got better. Now I've got time and want to update to this Build 3 of AOKP JB since it has fixed a few more bugs. I know that I will obviously have to wipe fully before I flash it. My biggest question is about the bootloader, does this still require a special JB bootloader to be flashed first? I'm going to be flashing B3 of AOKP, gapps, the new radios and the bootloader then if I need it, do they need to be in a special order?

Thank you very much for the help. And thank you to the AOKP team for their hard work.

Here's the order I'd flash in:

  1. JB Bootloader
  2. ROM
  3. GAPPs

Reboot, set it up, go back into recovery and flash the radios.

However, if you were adventurous (like I was a few days ago...), do this (warning, this is only for those who know how to escape when stuck!):

  • JB Bootloader
  • JB Radios
  • ROM
  • GAPPs

Wow, I was on build 1 and 2. Went to cm10 because of the custom ring tone issue. I don't know if it's just because cm10 wasn't very good but build 3 is flying and the features are excellent. Happiest I've ever been with a rom.

Thank you!! That's what I figured but always better to double check, especially with this type of stuff. To double check myself again, the radios and bootloader I should use are from this post correct? Thanks again!!

I'm on build 3 from build 1. Was I supposed to flash a special boot loader first? My gnex seems to run fine.
