That's exactly what's in my update. Mine just reflects date changes basically. Not sure why that one would work and mine wouldn't. I'm done testing for now. Mms is not that important although it would be nice...

i can confirm that just checking that box makes no difference in the ability to send picture mail (mms). still unable to receive. i wish we could get zefie in here and find out what he did to fix it in his CM7 (it didn't work initially either)

i can't get the stock mms.apk to load or show in the apps installed the file is there though... mind boggled

another thing about this
i tried both yours and the old one and get the same result on both. still unable to receive MMS. sending works just fine but receiving fails to work on both stock and gosms...

Appreciate your testing. I have a few things in mind for this mms issue. I'll keep everyone posted. In the meantime, if you guys get any results and can tell me what you did, that would help.

Add me on twitter and I can respond more quickly from my phone. basketthis

ok i know that there are known bluetooth issues but i connect my jawbone fine i can hear all audio crystal clear on phone calls youtube etc. but when i talk no one hears me at all...... anyone else have this or a way to fix it? All thats keeping me from daily use of this rom. Thanks

Mms send and receive works on my wife's optimus. She is on the first build that ovto sprint was published for. I've never updated her phone. This was prior to aosp publishing his mms fix for virgin mobile. His fix may have borked the mms on the optimus.

Do you know the date of the build? They are usually labelled like 20110011 for example. You may be able to look in the About phone section on the phone. Although all of that info isn't always correct, it would help get us a starting point.

In other news, I have a signed zip file that includes the newest Mms.apk ready to flash. If anyone wants to be a tester, message me (private message). I will probably send out the link around 8-9pm EST tonight. This will include flashing (erasing EVERYTHING from) the phone (sdcard will be fine) multiple times, trying multiple setups, and recording the information and being able to convey the information. Nandroid backup so that you may immediately return to your current state. If you can't do this efficiently or don't completely understand what's involved, don't get yourself into it. Otherwise, send me a message, let's get some testing done! :D

LG Optimus V Changelog - ROMRepo

claims to have fixed the MMS with aospCMod-OV-20110415

That was for the "V". The last working version for the "S" that I can confirm was the 20110403 version, including pfer10's "OV-to-Sprint" tweak.

I know, that's what I am saying. That he fixed the MMS for the V on the 0415 version. Until then, i.e. up to 0403 version, it was working for us.

I flashed what is linked on my guide. and installed the app WhatsApp Messenger .
i was able to mms myself but noone else is awake right now so ill test it later.

So you were able to send PICTURE MAIL? I feel far too many people are confusing mms for sms

With the 4/03 build and pfer10's zip I was able to do picture mail. Since then I have not. I am working on a couple of things to track down what the issue is and see if I can get it resolved. I would think that the apn xml edit would have done it, but maybe there is something else in the mms apk that needs changed? I'll keep looking.

I'm also tracking this. I don't believe it's the apn issue. This has been confirmed in talks with the devs...
