I flashed the blue soft key mod with circle battery with no problems. I've been running the same one since installing 2.0 I believe.
Nova was just updated to beta 7 which fixes some bugs and crashes... check under Nova settings for any available updates.

Just updated this morning 
It only crashed once just after flashing a soft key MOD and has been stable since.
Anyone trying any theme's? If so which ones and how do you like it?

Something very strange happened after I installed this ROM, which is my first ROM ever installed. I was already unlocked and rooted. Been reading all these forums for a while to make sure I am completely aware of all the steps.
So I followed all the steps that cyber gave in his post (excellent instructions BTW). I did add 1 extra step that I saw droidth3ory posting on his main blog (Under Mounts And Storage Format /System).
Then I did everything else exactly stated. So everything loaded fine for me and works. When I connect my phone to my computer, I can't see all my files. Which scared me for a second! I could see my pictures, but not my screen shots or other albums I added. Also any other folder that any app created wasn't there anymore.
After I installed Astro, I can see all my files on my phone. Not sure why windows explorer isn't showing all the files like it did previously. I even restored all my app with no issues.
I do have the MTP option selection when I connect my phone to my computer.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
EDIT: very strange. after i restored my apps using TiBu, now all the folders are appearing in Windows Explorer. I know that google was trying to restore all my apps initially, so perhaps my phone was too busy to try load all the folders/files in Windows Explorer since it was was busy installing apps? Who knows, just glad it is working fine.

Just loaded this rom and am trying to set everything back up. Using My Backup Pro do i want to restore "system settings"?
NEVERMIND, found the answer in another thread. This ROM seems snappy. Cant wait for MBP to finish doing its thing.

So after installing this ROM i noticed a few things that aren't working. I wanted to see if anyone else experienced these issues.
1. i activated the FB sync option in the FB app. after it synced my contacts, none of the profile pics downloaded. if i go to PEOPLE and view only my FB contacts, they are all in there but with no pictures.
2. My Verizon app didn't work after I restored it using TiBu. I saw it in the Market for Samsung Galaxy owners, so I installed that. Seems to only work on wi-fi and you have to login everytime. On 3G/4G, it doesn't work at all.
3. LightFlow, my light notification for Gtalk keeps coming on after I exit out of google talk and turn my screen off. even if i sign out of Google Talk all together this keeps happening. i know its the google talk notification cause i set that light to another color completely from the other notifications.
I did try uninstalling, restarting the phone, and installing again, problem still happens.
All three of the above worked fine on my stock ROM. did anyone else have any of these issues or know of a solution? i'm going to check some other forums to see if there is a solution.

I've had only one reboot since installing v2.3. No problems to report. It's been very stable for me.
It's been very stable for me.Is anybody else having data/sync issues on this ROM? My exchange and gmail accounts are not syncing, and I have had constant grey data bars (wifi/4g/3g) for a few days now. I can't remember if I had this issue before I flashed the 4G toggle mod (have since removed), but I don't remember it being an issue. Any thoughts?
PS - I'm getting really solid battery life out of this ROM, 16-20 hours typical with normal usage (during the workday anyways). Slight UV with a couple of SetCPU profiles.

I'm not having any data or sync issues with 2.3 or any of the other versions. When you removed your 4G toggle how did you do that? restore a backup? I would try restoring a backup and flashing 2.3 again maybe something went wrong the first time.
I removed it by deleting the zip file from the "SD Card" then rebooting and wiping cache/dalvik. There were some serious bugs with the toggle though, so I'm thinking that was the problem. Re-flashing 2.3 now, will let you know if this clears it up. Thanks.
my sync seems fine and i have constant data. i also have the 4.0.3 radio update.
can you list our what voltage settings you have so i can try them out?
also what profiles have you setup? i only have screen off with 350max/180min setup.
Yeah that doesn't sound like it would actually remove it if you flashed the toggle.
Idk something about that toggle didn't seem right to me.. First I didn't get why it needed to be flashed in the first place. So I opened the zip and loaded the apk alone on my phone, and it asked for a ton of permissions that it clearly should not need just for toggling the 4G antenna. Didn't sit well with me so I got rid of it. Not saying there was any malicious intent by the guys who released it, I don't know, just went with my gut.
Here's what mine are set at:
1420: 1300
1350: 1225
1200: 1200
920: 1150
700: 1100
350: 875
180: 825
Nothing to severe, as the ROM is already somewhat UV'd.
My profiles are for Charging (350-1200) and Screen Off (350-750), could probably go lower but haven't had any need to.

I have nothing against launchers in general, nor Nova specifically (though I would definitely consider "better" to be a subjective choice of words), but in as much as a ROM is at best a beta version of an OS, I prefer to install as few of other elements as possible. To my simple mind, it's one less thing I need to consider if I'm having glitchy issues...especially as integrated as a launcher has to be with the OS for all things to work together. The UI (aka the launcher) is what communicates everything we do on the phone to the OS...that's pretty significant. Based on what I've read, I do believe that Nova to be a solid performer, but I have no issues at all with the stock launcher.
