[ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

ICS reloaded no longer works at all, unless dev redid. He planned on redoing and releasing a new version, but did a full rom instead.

have you tried? cm9 is cm9, it shouldnt make a difference...

It says so in their thread that they do not support nightly builds. And, I've never been able to get ICS reloaded to work on quattrimus since early alpha.

There aren't any installed by default. You need to find and install your own. This is not my doing, it is aokp policy.

I found one....I really just needed it to make this really loud mp3 I have my alarm ringtone....working graveyard shift I tend to sleep right through the defaults...lol

Ttpod is a good alternative, it has a pretty sweet widget. And it supports music types that aren't MP3. It now costs on the play store. (Mod edit: Please do not discuss how to get paid apps for free.)

I found one that looks just like the stock music player.....and it was free

What they mean by that is that they wont give you support. I think. But oh well, it doesn't work anymore.

I've been pondering what to do about space issues in jb and one possible solution is to override the partition sizes in the kernel to give more space to system and less to data. This would make sdext pretty much mandatory. It would also require a matching recovery kernel. And it would mean a full wipe would be necessary when switching to/from other roms.

How many people don't use sdext and/or would not want to do this?

I'd be willing to do this, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people started bricking phones...

Seems like a very feasible idea. I'm using sd-ext already so let me know if you need someone to test.

What kind of recovery kernel are you suggesting?

A recovery kernel with the same partition override.

Can't seem to get any themes to work for some reason...
On the latest AOKP nightly. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. I reverted back to the system theme, rebooted, and then I always get a message saying that the theme was not "compiled correctly". I've tried 6 or 7 different themes all to the same effect.
Any ideas?

EDIT: I tried setting my LCD density to hdpi and still nothing.

Is it really that big? I slimmed it to 87 mb... and I didn't slim down any apps. My advice would be remove all ringtones/notification tones except the default, and remove the boot animation(add them in separate files). 87 mb is only 3-4 mb bigger than my cna rom... and for the record, I don't use sd-ext and don't plan to. I don't install many apps. I have about 70mb of internal data storage after everything is installed.

I don't feel that JB adds much to this old phone. For the sake of stability ICS should be the last OS version.

Have you played with it? Its about 1000000000000000x smoother. Without an overclock. Ill keep working on it even if everyone else gives up.
