a clean and thorough wipe/format is always recommended to weed out any errors/bugs that may/can be caused by a dirty flash... its pointless to report any bugs you find if you dont properly wipe/format/install fresh, as bugs could be from use of improper procedure and not necessarily the rom itself (following proper procedure)...

Actually, even tdm says a dirty flash does no harm when switching between quattrimus cm9 and quattrimus aokp. Its because they are still the same ROM, just different mods. Now if you're switching from 2 different ROMs ie, quattrimus and bobz ICS, THEN you do a full wipe.

Ok i just falshed AOKP qa d changed the cup settings to 480/787 savangenen wrk pritty gpod only had to random reboots though

Savagedzen works for me.
I run 844max/480min, and experience 0 reboots.

Thought I'd post this showing my phone running at 0%. Ran like that for over an hour today before it finally died. I did it after flashing the newest aokp nightly.

Nice set up!
Mind sharing it in my Rom comparison/set up thread?
Did you wipe cache and dalvik cache?
Try wiping battery stats from recovery.
Or, maybe its the circle battery mod.
These are just a few suggestions.

M9-NIGHTLY-120605 Change Log: Disable ip6tables bandwidth control for the moment,some wifi tether fixes related to hostapd(not stable yet), disable dalvik heaps logs

The quoted text is what 1 device did to kind of fix wifi tether in their cm9 rom.
And they're using a froyo based kernel, so they're worse off than us.
