[ROM][BETA] Quattrimus ICS

I'm going to check LG's VS660 Froyo source and see if it contains the proper eri.xml.

EDIT: nope. Nothing there like that.

EDIT2: Here's the eri.xml from stock ROM: http://pastebin.com/QnQYwyBD

If there is anything else you need from the stock ROM let me know and I'll try and pull it out.

MMS is still broken in the test AOKP. as is the roaming indicator. Exhibits same behavior.

@tdm I don't know if this will be of any help, but you can find the VS660 source code from LG here: Open Source Main
Select Mobile Phones and type in VS660. I believe it contained something for ami304 that might be of interest. You could also compare it to the VM670 and see the differences I'm sure.

Bad news. Didn't work for me. Though now the roaming indicator is gone :p Still no mms though.

o_o weird you got the opposite outcome xD
Edit: I think the changes that were done on AOKP-Test made it act differently xD

Actually, I had made a backup so the test would be a fresh install. I had already restored the backup when I used your fix.. So interesting indeed. :D

Edit to fix typo.

very.. someone tested it and it gave them MMS but still had the roaming indicator :confused:

Yeah.. Even as I Swype this I have no roaming indicator..

Using the beta1 release of AOKP I was successful with using Powmining's fix for MMS. Didn't fix the roaming indicator as that is packaged in framework-res.apk for AOKP. I'm going to see if I can modify that and stick in the eri.xml I had gotten from the stock ROM.

That's odd though cause CM9 has eri.xml in the framework-res.apk BUT it also has the one in /data. In the other hand aparently AOKP dosent have it in /data :-\

Thanks I wasn't aware of that.

I have CM9 and after I used the fix i made I don't have Roaming Indicator and I have MMS working. and I think.. since the fix is suppose to replace the eri.xml it actually adds it to /data since It's not there in the beginning.

I think this may be of help. It is the build.prop from a stock 2.2.1 ROM, although there might be a couple little tweaks it's nothing important. Most of note is this:

ro.cdma.home.operator.alpha=Verizon
ro.cdma.home.operator.numeric=310004

Ok, so I opened up Terminal Emulator and tried running ami304d, and this is the error it throws:

Cannot open KR3DH!!!
Cannot open KR3DM!!!

Not sure if that's of any help but I thought it might leaad in the direction of fixing up the sensors.

EDIT: Quick search in LG's VS660 kernel shows kr3dh.c and kr3dm.c in /drivers/input/sensor/
I guess that'd be the place to look for this :)
EDIT2: kr3dm.c is a 1:1 match between your kernel and the VS660 kernel, however the kr3dh.c has some changes.
