[ROM] Clean AOSP 4.1.1 build 5 (JRO03R)

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 1

May finally try something else other than Bugless Beast, just read Pete may not be updating soon due to school. I've also been tempted by LiquidSmooth with 1.2. This Clean ROM is interesting too.

Let me know if you try it out. I'm more than happy to have you! haha. Feel free to leave me any feedback/suggestions you may have, if you do try it out, as well.

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 2

posted 4.0.4 build 2. it includes reboot and screenshot options in the power menu. as well, i've built out settings in Settings > Developer options to disable/configure these options.

the reboot option in the power menu will by default simply reboot your phone when clicked. If you prefer the whole reboot options menu (regular, recovery, bootloader) you can configure this in Settings > Developer options > Reboot option. As well, if you would like to turn off the Screenshot option in the power menu you can do so via Settings > Developer options > Screenshot option. i generally leave it off as I think it's easy enough to take a screenshot in ICS as is via the volume/power key combo, but I figured some of you guys might like it.

as always, let me know what you think

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 3

I just posted 4.0.4 build 3 which includes a "Clean extras" setting panel. This is now the home to all the settings I previously had in "Developer options". I also added a Settings shortcut to "Clean extras", so you can have a shortcut on your home screen if you like. In addition, I added a new setting to toggle the Battery Percentage Indicator that is now present in the Status bar.

Enjoy

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 3

This ROM is exactly what I have been looking for. I really only wanted a stock experience without all of the extra stuff, but I wanted 4.0.4. Thank you for making this. So far, I haven't noticed any problems.

My pleasure. That's exactly what I was going for. I've started to add in some smaller tweaks but all are toggle-able via settings. And, I'm trying to only include what I feel is actually useful/that enhances the experience. I'm glad you like it.

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 3

I have noticed a problem. When I go to the battery setting it says "Battery usage data not available" instead of showing me the breakdown of what apps used what percentage of battery. The graph and amount of time on charge is still displayed. I tried wiping battery stats and it didn't fix it.

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 3

if you're curious, I'm currently working on a setting for changing the number of home screens for Launcher2 via Clean extras

Yea, this is something a couple of other people have reported as well that I need to look into. I believe it has to do with the kernel that AOSP pushed out. I'll probably see if I can look into it sometime in the next week or so. It shouldn't affect anything, but it is a little annoying not being able to see the full breakdown. I agree. Thanks for the heads up!

Ok, good to hear that it's been reported already. I'm running the nightly Franco Kernel if that helps at all. If there's any information that could help out I'm willing to do what I can. Other than this problem there isn't anything else I've seen so far, the ROM is great!

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 3

Awesome! I'm glad you like it. Wasn't sure about releasing it originally as it's just my own personal build really, but I'm glad other people are enjoying it / making use of it. I'm sure I'll post here when I get to the heart of the Battery Statistics issue. I'm sure, it's just something small/stupid.

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 4

I just posted 4.0.4 build 4. It includes an option for specifying the number of home screens. As well, you can now rent/view movies in Google Play Movies and the "Battery usage data not available" bug should now be fixed as well.

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

for some reason whenever I flashed this it wouldn't let me add my google account anymore....

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 4

You flashed the gapps package too after the ROM?

Ah, of course! I knew I was forgetting something, sorry about that. I was just away on a trip and didn't give myself the time I normally do to try and figure out what was wrong.

EDIT: Everything is working like a charm!

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.0.4 build 5

posted build 5.. the "T-CDMA 64" bug *should* be fixed. let me know if it's not. i was never able to replicate it, but i think i implemented a fix for it. also, i cleaned up the home screen option a little bit and added options to remove "Airplane Mode" and the Silent Mode toggles from the Power Menu. let me know what you think

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.1.1 build 0

Sorry for the delay. I've put together a little preview build of jelly bean, rooted, works with the standard jb gapps. Enjoy and let me know what you think. I'll be bringing back the rest of the clean features little by little

Re: [ROM] Clean AOSP 4.1.1 build 1

I just posted build 1 for 4.1.1. It includes selective root, a separate Clean extras settings panel, a Clean extras settings shortcut, and paves the way for the rest of the settings to be implemented/have a home. Enjoy!
