[ROM]CM10.1/PAC-rom jb 4.2.2 The JBC alpha build

748/480 savagedzen. Almost no crashes, one or two a week maybe. Zero crashes on 748/600 (but i worry about jackin the min up that far). This is unheard of for a non GB rom on my phone. I loved cai and slim bean, but they never oc'd like the PAC ROM. It is, IMHO a step above every ROM I've tried.

806/480 with savagedzen, but remember not all processors are created equal. Mine is actually stable at 864, but the extra heat and battery drain isn't worth it to me. To really test your processor, pick a speed setting then fire up gallery. Start around 700ish, and gradually push it up one notch at a time. When you start getting reboots, back off one notch. You have now found your sweet spot.

Did you have this prior to flashing? If so, perhaps it is your area.


On a side note, on the JBC build, anyone notice that wifi is draining the battery? Now I only use wifi when my phone is plugged in.

This happened with CAI but not with quattrimus or a gingerbread ROM i had.

In running PAC ROM on a opV. I like it, but it doesn't seem to recognize my sd-ext... I don't even have room to install my launcher (apex).

Can you reccomend a method for clean installing JBC where WiFi will work well?
Maybe clean install 25 and dirty install 28?

Just noticed there's a new version of pac rom. Any reason for me to update from the Feb 26 build? If it's just adding in Spanish language ill stay put till next update

I tried to flash it, but it said signature error but i flashed it anyway and when my phone finally booted up it said i had no service. I went back to a back up and everything was OK. I checked md5 sum and it matches.

That's fine, but if it bothers you you can always use CCRename to change that to say Virgin Mobile. My says "Ah, papoi!" from Despicable Me. Love the minions!

You can change it in settings. On PAC, it's in ROM Control -> General UI -> Custom Carrier Label. Mine says Zombie Mobile.

On the tiles it says sprint and about phone at network it says sprint...

Tried still says sprint.

And when i flash the ROM it says, 'signature verification error' something about missing digest for something... I'll try reflashing it and ill see >.<

Here's a 3/9 pac rom build

Fresh PAC-Rom/cm10.1 sync. Fixes custom tiles. They removed hdr camera modes, as our hardware doesn't support it. It might be the last build from me as I lost my Optimus. The code is there for anyone to carry on.
