I tried flashing again and making sure md5 sums were correct and the install is still aborting. Man I was really excited to try this one out too. Doing a clean wipe etc. Any others have this problem. I'm coming from aokp jb

What recovery are you using? Are you wiping system as well as data/cache/dalvik? Any problems with the SD partition previously?

I am using clockwork mod. And yes I was wiping everything. I just flashed the latest aokp no prob. Never had a problem before.

Maybe try installing TWRP? Download goomanager from the market. Free app. Works awesome for updating the ROM. Even verifies the md5 for you ! I should also say that goomanager will install TWRP for you.

I've never wiped my SD partition and never had any problems...just the normal data/cache/dalvik/system wipes. I've also dirty flashed 9/10 times on this ROM with minimal issues...I'd say this kicks a$$

Awesome! The ONLY issue that I have is that sometimes the screen won't turn on. That is, I hear Notifications and see the LED indicator, but the power button won't wake the screen. If I Iet it sit for a while, it comes back like normal.
