[ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 3/9 zvd only

Having some troubles with the latest release (11/12). I've flashed two different times and after both times I have trouble downloading from the market. I keep getting either a "insufficient space" message which is not true since I have plenty or a notification saying the download failed. I have tried all of the different google apps and markets from the first page. I have even cleared the data and cache from the app. On both flashes I did a full wipe and used the debut format to ensure everything went right.

Found a few things to try. Clear data and cache of the Download Manager app and Market too.

Sometimes clearing "Uninstall Updates" from the Market tab works.

There is a Marketfix app on the market.

A few things i found:
How to Fix "Installation Unsuccessful" Errors in the Android Market
Error downloading "[App Name]". There is insufficient space on the device. - Android Market Help
Android Market: “Download unsuccessful” Error Fix | Technipages

This one lists further down, more things to clear cache/data.

This last one looks like a real fix.

Wow thanks for taking the time to compile all of this!!! I tried almost every one of the links but it seems the simple marketfix app was all I needed.

I have a question about the 10-3-2011 g-apps. Can it be used with any device or has it been optimized for our optimi?. I know in the froyo days there where different packages based on hardware, so you had to be sure to get the one that matched your device. But Gingerbread came along and consolidated them into one unified g-apps (the singularity). Although I seem to recall that for this ROM, use only the g-apps in the OP, I dont remember if that goes the other way too...seems like it would but...

The 10/3 apps might be old now, considering that the new Market is out. The 8/28 one upgrades to it automatically. But they should flash fine on other phones.

Has anyone had a problem with duplicate contacts being created by syncing with an Exchange server? Maybe this is not the right forum, but I don't know where to start. I am running the 11/12 update with the 10/3 Google apps. I looked last night to find that I had 13000 contacts. I deleted all the contact data, as well as all the contacts in Outlook connected to the Exchange server. When I re-synced the 535 correct contacts, I ended up with 4400 on the phone in about an hour. I am also syncing contacts with Gmail, but those don't appear to duplicate.

@jeffersonparker Yes I have the same problem as you and it p*sses me off. It has been happening even when I was using drews cm7 , I have disabled sync and manually imported a backup from sd card, I think it has something to do with cm7 in general , Im probably wrong thought. But like always I want to thank every one who has helped with the custom roms and keep up the great work , and I i can ever help in any way , just let me know. P.s. Kraven I love your rom.

Oh, my phone says this:
Baseband version:
LS670MVD_60401001

Build Number:
ZVD.41B2924E

SW Version
LS670ZVD

This will work on my phone, right? (already rooted and installed Xionia CWMA v1.2518.6 using the auto rooting files)

Why does it take so long to boot on first install?
