Your latest barebones build is great. Plenty of free app space, smooth and filled with extras and CM7 goodies. Thank you for keeping CM7 so up to date on the Optimus S! Lockscreen is nice and fast while unlocking the device, and looks amazing with the HOLO stlye rings. Flashed last night and zero bugs to report so far. Thanks again.

There is a recent commit to CM that should fix the swip2dismiss functionality. I'm sure thekraven will have it pulled in soon.

Are you positive the baseband of your phone is ZVD?

how many times did you flash "update.zip" when you were reverting from gb(zvh) to froyo(zvd)?

@thekraven, great Rom, fast, no wifi problems,so far very stable, and yes Ian an OV user
But I have one question, bobzhome just made a new kernel 3.7 could I flash it in recovery thanks

CyanogenMod Gingerbread Port. CM7 unofficial. Gingerbread 2.3.7. For ZVD Baseband phones. Will not work with ZVH official Gingerbread phones. Let me repeat For ZVD Baseband phones. Check your baseband before installing this by looking at Settings/about phone/Baseband. Could be zvd or mvd. If it says anything else like ZVH you will not have data or phone service. Look for the ZVD downgrade thread by sfhub. Official Sprint ZVD / Froyo downgrade now available Make sure your 3G data, calls, and GPS work prior to flashing this. Get rooted and install Xionia Recovery.. nothing else.

I can't wait... currently running hydrorom but I really miss CM7... wouldn't mind reverting back to zvd when the new build drops. Thanks for all the hard work!

Because the LG ZVH radio and CM7 do not play well together. There is actually a ROM of CM7 that boots on ZVH radio, but the dialer FC's on boot, and other various malfunctions because the CM7 libs dont know how to communicate with the radio properly.

I am pretty sure Drew Walton is sort of working on it as a side project, however, CM7 runs like butter on ZVD, i personally find ZVD to be much more stable then ZVH, and, unless CM9 was the next Cyanogenmod to be released for the Optimus, would probably stay with ZVD even if the get a working gingerbread CM7 on ZVH.

The radio is the reason there is no zvh cm7.charging is not the reason. The radio is what controls 3g and cell.his this is because, zvh radio does not like cm7.Drew Walton was looking into getting it to work last time I checked, but I think he's a little busy with hydrorom. If you want cm7, go ahead and downgrade.it's easy and week worth it.remember, read 10 times than try it

I love the latest ROM... runs extremely smooth and the notifications bar is just absoloutely amazing. The old one I had issues opening and closing the notifications bar. I don't know if you changed or not but it is much better. Keep up the good work!!!

PS. The offline charging is a God send

For Wifi teathering, do we have to install this hotfix ?

Wife is currently using pdanet with her phone connected to her Windows 7 laptop, i told her to try wifi teather instead, but she thinks it doesn't work.

I'll give a try tonight, but i was curious to know if r1/16/2012 version would allow the phone to use wifi teatheirng, or if i have to install the .apk file on the phone in order for this to work ?
