[ROM] Cognition

I just flash from stock 2.1 to 2.2 and I am impressed with cognition 3.04, I followed the instructions in the forum and the only problem I had was rooting the phone the second time around after the odin3 master clear. I realize that the internal sd card would not recognize the file update.zip so I entered update instead and remainder of the process went off without a problem. Thanks to you guys I think I will keep my Cappy until something breaks. Once again thanks Design Gears and Connextion2005 for the videos.

flashing cognition issues

i'm following the videos & have gotten to the point where it is supposed to flash the new rom. it does not flash it correctly. i see the update.zip file on my sd, but it isn't working. i have tried numerous times to no avail. is there any other method that i should try?

so you get into recovery , and select reinstall packages...and nothing happens?

i get to the green cognition screen, but when i hit load zip from sd, i don't get the cog rom on reboot.

it doesnt say, install zip from sd card
then choose zip from sd card
then the zip file


oh maybe put file on the internal sd card not the external one

yes, not the cognition robot is not on the screen & i don't hear the voodoo voices talking to me.

Redownload cognition and place it on your phone again...it may be a bad download

that is what you are suppose to be flashing

if you use titanium back up to restore make sure to only use, missing apps and data,,,,,,not all system data because it will go wackadoo on you
