This rom on its own is fully compatible with the optimus v I know because I have been running it for quite some time. The only difference between the 2 sub-models is the hardware keys corresponding to menu and home are swapped, and where it normally says virgin mobile it says sprint. A quick key layout change and a few build.prop edits and bingo. Regardless you should try quattrimus as pre3 is out and not only is it VM670 specific AOKP is running great on my wife's phone without complaint.

Two things:
1. I tip my hat to thee, kraven, for a fantastic Rom that runs as well (if not better) than quattrimus on my V.

2. Thank you for including the theme Chooser in the rom, tdm has been fixing some bugs and hasn't gotten around to include it yet so I have been without the theme manager to make themes for ics. I have verified that the theme Chooser works (even with cm7 themes partly) and I hope to release some (not so ginormous) mdpi ics themes over the weekend.

I've got plenty of space. I'm sure this package crap is Rom related. Showstoppers for me are the Google play gymnastics, no speakerphone except on groove, phone and 3g signal are weak (but wifi is quick), Fox-Fi doesn't work. APK Uploader dies as does DroidSall A2SD, Firefox stops and loads blank pages most of the time

Retired 10g and Nanded back to sRom which has been rock solid for months and my daily driver. Keeping 10g on my other opti and wil wait it out.

Kudos for the great work so far. Looking forward to a beta.

@ thekraven, tested USB tethering this morning. Couldn't get my laptop to connect but it could be on my end. ALL data is flowing faster than with ANY alpha 10 build. Themes work (thanks jason) and it seems the theming options in cm work as well, but haven't messed with it too much yet. As always thanks for the great work!

ROM seems faster in general too, dont you think? Took a reboot to get WiFi to connect initially, but since then WiFi AND Data speeds seem greatly increased.

Themes look STUNNING and really make me wish i had an HDPI phone, just because of how amazing it could look.

Checking on USB Tethering in a minute.

BT Phone Audio still broken.

Also, Reloaded ICS causes SystemUI to crash.

The new root browser and Apollo Music is cool.

EDIT: Anyone else have VERY quiet sound through the headphones? Even with DSP enabled....

I wish I could test, but I'm going camping for five days. Won't have much signal, WILL need to have a reliable music player and clock. I'll throw the newest changes on my device on Monday; we'll see what further fixes get made between now and then.

Mostly for Kraven's review, but... test 11a initial thoughts:

• Having trouble getting gapps to work. No google account tied to my phone right now, but everything else is working... Probably my own dumb move, but I'm working on it.. (Edit: Working fine. Just flashed in the wrong orders.. duh)
• Apollo player is pretty slick. I use Google music or pandora, though, but still nice to see it in this build. The music controls in the dropdown notification drawer is neat.
• Camera preview is smooth again, not choppy as it was in a previous (the last one?) build.
• Video is close. It'll show a preview and try to record, but crashes when I stop recording (saving to gallery I guess). Side note: there's settings for time-lapse? Sweet! ...Actually just noticed that it places video files in the gallery, but those files can't be played.
• Seems snappier than before. Might just be me / placebo effect... But I was experiencing painfully slow data speeds the past couple days for some reason. That seems all better now. Dunno what that was about..
• This might be related to the bug where it'll reboot when powering down while plugged in, but telling it to reboot into recovery just reboots normally instead. Just noticed it.
• Still rocking a data2ext script. Works fine for those who are interested. Just be sure you (first wipe system and cache if coming from earlier build) flash the rom, then gapps, then the script.
• Gmail scrolling issue is still here, but force closing it once or twice fixes it temporarily.

I'll try to get an idea for battery life. Seems about the same as before, but we'll see. There's also new governors available in the settings, so I'll look into those and maybe give some a try.

I don't get as many ANRs from 11a as I did 10g, GApps seems to work great still. Apollo Player is a beautiful player.

Also, for those who want S-Voice, there is a flashable package here:

I would not suggest flashing, but instead extracting it and installing it manually but installing Voicetalk.apk to the Data partition instead.

The flashable package fixes personalizing crashes, Alarm setting, and some other bugs and it seems to be fixing a lot more too.
It also fixes the TTS issues that some people were having, I've never had the problem with it freezing after giving it commands after installing it.

EDIT: eventually, I'll make a flash-able ZIP the installs S-Voice to the Data Partition/SD-EXT and installs the libraries to /system.

I am just curious if there is any way to get the Sprint Nacar app to recognize Sprint. I have looked at the build.prop and thought it maybe needed editing to say sprint, but it already has sprint where it needs to be and the Nascar app still isn't working. I know this is something petty that most people don't care to have, but I just thought you guys might know of a simple fix to get this working.

I don't think anyone thinks that the Sense task switcher is better. Every single tech site has bashed it compared to the standard multitasking function.

im back on cm7 for other reasons, but one of my biggest annoyances was just that, assuming you mean the recent apps list? i prefer to see the several small icons in gb than 2 big ones you have to scroll through in ics.
