Just wanted to say you are doing tremendous work, I really only use my phone for texting, reddit, calls and a music player. Every app I have installed has worked flawlessly.

How do I go about changing default apps? I installed ADW Launcher and then when I hit the home button it asked which launcher I wanted to use and i mistakenly told it to use use Trebuchet as the default. Now I can't figure out how to get ADW back.

Can anyone help?

Go to manage apps, find Trebuchet, clear the defaults (its the button below clearing the cache) and then click home, and tap ADW

I think 1Tap Cleaner has an option to clear default apps. Don't hold me to that, though; I'm tipsy and eating potato chips.

Go to your "Manage Apps," select Trebuchet, near the bottom is "Clear Default." Hit that, then hit home again and it will give you the option to set ADW.

When I press the menu button on the homescreen...why does the static Google search box get brighter? And then when I press menu again...it gets darker again?( gray to white...then white to gray). This goes for the thin line just above the dock as well. Still a great rom though

Hi all, when I tried to install the latest ROM 11D it started and they gave me an error.
Installing update... assert failed:getprop("ro.procut.device") == "thunderc" !! getprop ("ro.build.product") == "thunderc"

Is anyone else having the same problem?
I am trying to install the rom on the optimus V, with CWM recovery installed.

Now the clock isn't changing at all in the notification bar.

There's this new thing called an alarm clock. I can buy one even at a gas station. And the best part is you can put it next to your phone at night while charging!

It doesnt seem to affect SYSTEM time at all, just what is displayed on your widget/notification bar. ive NEVER had an alarm issue related to clock lag.

i thought i did once, but i forgot to change 5 PM to 5 AM.

I've never experienced the alarm not going off my wife and I both use our phones for an alarm. I'm running CM9 and she is on CM7. I have our alarms set to go off at the same time and they always go off with in seconds of each other.

What do you suggest for Calendar appointment alarms that are missed with clock lag? Must sync and allow shared calendars with other people.

Just wanted to thank thekraven for restoring harmony to my life and home. My wife was adamant about having ICS on her Optimus V after seeing it on mine. She was running a different distribution and was not very happy with the stability, but after flashing 11D to her phone with the VM fix, she's back to being the woman I married. Thanks again.
