that's what it does for everyone else its downloading using 3G but it doesn't allow itself to go to the next step.

Im currently investigating as to why its not working though!

I have connected to 3 different wifi on 2 of them I am able to dl mms pictures. I was simply posting that on one network it didnt work and how it was acting in comparison to the two it does work on for me.

I'm on cm9 , everything went well...awoke this morning , it was okay , then I rebooted & now its stuck on LG screen .......what to do, PLEASE HELP. !!!!!

Kraven,

Even with your fix zip, mute button still doesn't work. I tested on the phone itself, both speaker and regular mode and with a headset. This is probably a deal-breaker for me as well, since I call into a lot of meetings and need to be able to mute my phone.

Bluetooth is completely non-functional, but that is probably not a surprise.

The ROM is awesome. This will almost certainly be the lowest-specced device running ICS! Thanks for all your hard work!

Boot back to recovery and restore your previous nand or reflash and see if that helps.

clock is freezing in notification bar home screen and lick screen with 15 20 minutes of inactivity even after reboots

edit: seems to be working now. battery life actually improving longer I keep using rom anyone else confirm?

Anyone having trouble trying to get adb going while booted into CM9? Flashed the boot image, but still no go.

Last night, my Optimus decided that it didnt want to use the internet provided by the wifi connection that it says it's using.

I am using this phone as a game phone, since it's deactivated (because I upgraded to the Evo). But, I can't even do that now because all of the sudden, although I can connect to my wifi network, I cannot seem to get internet to work on the phone (internet provided by my wifi connection). I've made the phone forget my network, I've tried static IP settings, I've rebooted the phone several times as well as my router. My last try is to see if there's any options I can use in recovery to fix this broken mess that I have. I'll report back.

I cleared Cache, Dalvik Cache, Fixed Permissions and still wifi connects, but it appears that it's not even getting an IP from my router BUT the router shows the phone's MAC address as connected.

ETA: I forgot to mention that settings do not save... for example, when I tried to set my auto-rotate OFF, and my screen timeout to 10 minutes, they instantly revert back to default settings (and act on the defaults, too).

ETA (again): I just realized that my ROM is alpha4-cm9-thekraven-signed, so I am assuming that I need to flash the Alpha 5 that I thought I saw in OP. BRB lol.

I do have the improving battery life as well. a for wifi, I have no idea. the settings not sticking is a well documented issue. after changing settings, WITHOUT PRESSING HOME OR BACK, immediately reboot

I'm finding most, but not all, setting stick in A5 now. The widgets in the notification bar and their order.

I'm getting pretty decent battery life, too, especially if I'm connected to wifi all day. Of course, one of the first apps I restored was SetCPU.

My clock app (and its shown time in the status bar, notification area, and lockscreen) keeps correct time. My Beautiful Widgets SuperClock widget seems to be time-frozen, though everything else (date, current weather conditions) updates. It's a little nutty.

Still no luck downloading any MMS message, with handcent or ROM messaging or anything else, on wifi or 3G.

In any case, it's day three(?) with alpha5 as my daily driver and I haven't returned to a nandroid backup in frustration yet. I think that says something. Edit: Though I'm pretty sure the MMS issue caused me to miss out on a naked photo! :'(

The battery life on the alpha5 is about the same for me for the alpha4. Still reboots after trying to use the overclock setting. When I turn off the screen, it goes like if it was an old television. I don't like the costom build ringtones. Could always change it though. But overall this is a great ROM

I'm BETTING it was to save internal space (which this build does), but let's hear it from the horse's mouth.

Everything is cm9 till bugs get worked out. You can add that launcher in the zip or install separately. Xda has a newer version.

Im currently looking into why MMS's dont work. Ive been looking around and it seems either sprint has changed their APN settings or people have no idea of what they are doing lol
