Isn't that kinda advertising that I am hacking my phone and voiding my warrenty? Is there another way?

you know its not against the law "yet"to hack your phone,just tell them that your data or prl wasnt updating and you where trying to do it yourself,i got mines by switching between different phones,the have to give it to you when deactivating or activating phones

Due to the snafu that was zvh update, we have the perfect reason to get that code. Since it is common to lose data apon a reversion from zvh to zvd with THIER rollback update.zip you just call up customer service(due to no service after the downgrade), say you wanted to do a ##786# reset but it keeps asking for a 6 digit code.

More bug reports: In addition to the problem with muting calls, the volume control is very bad. Also, pressing the power button while in call hangs up the call.

I have a feeling that you found the last one out the hard way.

However, it is still in alpha phase. Kraven's an awesome dev, things will get fixed.

Va1ha11a: I have no complaints. The ROM is awesome, though I'm coming to realize it may not be my main driver quite yet. I know that it takes a lot of work to port it and I really appreciate Kraven's hard work. ICS is far better than Froyo (I tried Kraven's CM7 but liked Reborn better) and I'm looking forward to seeing a fully stable version. I'm just reporting bugs so we can get there sooner, since I don't have the time to start learning Android development myself right now.

End on power is under setting, accessablity. It is usually off, check that.

Have you had data on other builds?

I think I briefly had data on A2 by continuing to toggle radio/airplane mode but it was incredibly shaky. since then, no. and i've tried alphas 4 and 5.

re: power button ends call. I checked and the setting was off. I toggled it (in case we have it backwards) and tested, and still hangs up. I turned it off again, rebooted and it still hangs up.

Me too, data blacklist.

I have only had reliable data with A4 and bootimage 67v8. I have installed every alpha from 1-5. I have saved links to all the data tricks posted in the thread and tried them, the APNs, the toggle airplane and data, the *#*#4636#*#* and toggle preferred network and radio off and on. On A5, i had wifi and data after initial flash, but once I toggled some settings and rebooted, I get great wifi, blue bars and activity indicator, but no, and I mean no, data. I even installed an app from opensignalmaps that has some great indications of signal. I shows me on 2.5g with an -1 asu - always.

I have done those exact steps. The fact that a4-67v8 worked keeps me trying.

Lets try a little experiment. We get everybody to flash the same stuff, and toggle the same things, add than we see what happens

Another boot.img to try. On my test build adb and native usb is working. So please post your results. So you can remove the usbstorage.apk via titanium backup if both are working.

Edit made another one, See if the clock matches up better in v6

V10 has a few more permissions for camera, still no preview. And uses init.thunderc.usb.rc now for adb.

V12 same was v10 just a fresh make.

USB mounted and I copied the old a4-67v8 boot image. Check!
