OK, ing weird, but here's how I JUST got an MMS message on Alpha 8.

1. Reboot phone.
2. Make sure toggles are working.
3. Perform Toggle Dance to get 3G working.
4. Attempt to download message(s) in whichever client you use, stock Messaging or Handcent or other.
5. Turn wi-fi on.

I don't know why or how, but after performing those steps a recent MMS with an image attachment downloaded. The message I recently tried to SEND still hasn't worked, so it's a half-victory, and I make no guarantees downloads will work for you.

Still, it's something to try. Hope you all have some success.

BTW, we hope around here, we don't expect. Expecting means someone is paid to do something. I tell my boss sometimes, when he tries to expect a lot from me, that if he paid me more he could expect it sooner, but until then, he can hope for results.

Maybe "expecting" something tends to mean someone is more obligated to do something. I didn't expect CM9, but have hoped it would show up sooner or later. I don't expect kraven to do anything, but appreciate everything he has done and hope to continue seeing more great work!

Drew.....yesterday, 4/2/12, I got a notification with a Sprint icon referencing an update for my LG LS670, SW Version LS670ZVH. When I open the notification, an message came up about a certificate issue. Being concerned with a possible virus, I backed out. As I have investigated this on androidcentral I am now wondering if it may have been the update you referred to in early February. If it is a valid update, how do I download it now.....thanks

First off the is thekravens thread. Second, you would want to be stock to accept it. You may have missed this round.

Don't worry, it will come again or soon enough (likely tomorrow sometime as that is the official release date) someone will post the update.zip for us.

"Stock", as in "part of the stock of Sprint-configured phones available in a Sprint store". No mods, no root, etc.

You just need a stock based rom (reborn, hydro, yourMomRom, unmodded stock rom) and stock recovery. There may be other ways to do it, but we as of yet don't know enough so there you go.

So, if I had an OTA update last year to ZVH, then I am not stock.....If so, to upgrade to the latest SW, do I need to be stock. Is there a link to to this procedure?....thanks

Not stock means you installed a custom recovery & rom. You can be rooted and still be stock.

Uploading a new alpha tonight.

Has new ICS qualcom adreno files, really makes everything flow and move smoother.
This fixes Cm9 live wallpapers, Youtube hq is somewhat better.
Android 4.0.4 now.
Doesn't have any new camera work yet, currently testing. So this build has no camera working, I'll see about making a patch for the files from the previous alpha.

Awesome kraven cannot wait to experiment the new build haven't been on much helping my old man a lot, he recently had a valve transplant and a double bypass! Have to say old men are tough as nails lol . Back to the rom loving ics and atm using my zvd optimus s as a tablet more or less lol

It's not that big of a deal, just stick to ZVD if you want to use the ROM.
