I know I for one don't want to jeopardize the public work thekraven does. he wants to use one and not deal with counting from multiple places. if that and out testing is all that is asked of us to use his rom then its pretty simple request. kraven keep up the awesome work!

your right your not. kraven is very generously Donating his time and effort for all of us to have have this awesome rom. as a result two things are asked of us no mirrors and test and report findings if we want to.

Can we please stop talking about irrelevant things. If you're having trouble with Goo.IM then PM someone who has the complete file and ask them to dropbox it to you or something. Not really that big of a deal. Anyway, looking forward to the next alpha.

OK fellas, let's not fight about it but the link Pimpjuice posted worked for me and Goo did not. thekraven, I love your work and only wish to be able to access it and participate in testing for you. If you want, now that my download is complete, feel free to have the mirror removed. I respect you and your work. From now on if your links don't work for me I will PM Pimp and ask for a private download link. Please keep up the excellent work you are doing. I am a big fan and have been for a while now.

Well, after flashing it and testing, the new boot animation rocks. Unfortunately, tethering still doesn't work. Other than that data and wifi work fine. Camera works without the view screen and the gallery works fine. Market works great. Facebook app working great, music app is working with my headphones plugged in and sounds great but does not show the headset icon in my status bar. Altogether a strong Rom but the tethering not working means I can't run it as my daily driver. I need that working. Thanks guys, I hope this helps.

Why should Kraven have to register on your site? It's his ROM and if he prefers you not to have another mirror up then take it down. Don't make the moderators come into this and get your account banned or even IP altogether.

You must not understand. This is common sense, YOu always ALWAYS see site you download things from with more then one mirror. DO you know why? Because If there's only one mirror, and if that one mirror's site goes down or there server's crash which happens alot. There's no reliable download link available. So user's can't download that object, but wait. If you had another mirror, user's would be happy and you'd have a reliable backup download link. COme on, Don't come at me when I have my reasons and my reason's are 150% legit.

Here is the issue. Thekraven has spent hours and hours on the project. If he wants to add another mirror, there is zero issue. But it is his project and under his control on how it is distributed. Now I doubt he would have an issue incorporating you link into his OP, but you never know. Your best bet would simply take it down and as a curtesy ask permission about how he wants it handled. You are right, if there is an issue with getting the rom from its primary source there should be another option.

I am being respectful and obviously it isn't my work. must you make a big fuss about this?.. seriously, It's not that big of a deal. All I did was help a user because he could NOT download the file and you treat me as if i stole something?

I just installed this for the first time to see how it's progressing, and all I can say is "WOW!" It's really just an unbelievable feeling to know I'm running CM9 on my little Opti S.

The work that Kraven, Drew, Lupohirp, the CM team, and all the devs do on these ROMs is greatly appreciated. Unreal stuff Kraven, thanks!

i really don't like mirrors, b/c i go by the numbers. If I miss a few downloads, i might see that as no one using it, and i'll go work on my other phones. Or back to private alpha testing.

NEED MORE BE SAID ON THE ISSUE? maybe private testing is what you prefer?

okay. Like I said, if he registered with my site and uploaded his stuff, he can manage his uploads and view how many times they've been downloaded. IT's always good to have more then 1 mirror. If you pay attention, a website can have more then 1 mirror they do. They usually have 1, 2 or 3. I'm just trying to help him out, He doesn't need 20 mirrors.

Please respect the devs work and wishes... he has asked that you do not put up any mirrors. He nor anyone else should have to register at your site which in a way is also against forum rules... (Do not use the forums to promote external websites, blogs, promotions, contests, services, affiliate ID's, or other products, without prior authorization.)

The mirror link has been removed from this forum... if Kraven says you can post up a mirror.. then go ahead and do so.. but for now it has been removed.
