If you use Titanium Backup, you can uninstall some of the system stuff, like live wallpapers.

edit: be careful of what you uninstall. Sometimes, the most innocuous looking app can bring your system to a halt. I recommend that you perform a nandroid backup before deleting any system app, including live wallpapers.

I've been using this rom with Alpha10F along with the various hotfixes.
I have to report that using the speaker during calls does not work on my particular phone.
Neither does the portable hotspot.
Otherwise everything else works great.

Is it too much to ask if you can use either Mounts2SD (Found on this forum), Link2SD or some other A2SD mod to give you more space so your phone will show emojis? xD

That said, Are your emojis installed or are you trying to install them? I have no problem with emoji on mine right out of the flash. If your trying to install them, it might not be the system partition, it may be that you ran out of space on your data partition In which case, please see my tongue in cheek remark above or delete one of the Apps you already installed.

I don't believe erasing anything out of System will fix your problem but you never know.

EDIT: I apologize if I'm wrong, I'm running on only 4 1/2 hours of sleep and it's made me grumpy on top of my normal blunt self.

i got flash player for ARMv6 and install but doesn't work, but with CM7 if it worked
i have this rom CM9 Alpha 10.
is there any way that flash player work with this ROM?

Because it's ics. The hacked version isn't the latest flash that supports ics
. Read the adobe flash changelogs.
You will need to find at least a hacked arm 6 version 11.1.115.7 for ics

turned my router off broadcast SSID and then forgot my network in phone settings. I then could not save the network. I then flashed the boot.img and can now connect to wifi that isn't broadcasting SSID. test on two different phones.

I have been messing with if for a while, I flashed it just with A10F with no Hot Fixes or GAPPS, tried Format Boot before flashing, tried all of that with all the Hot Fixes in post 2, and I cant get it to work. With the new kernel in post 2 it breaks WiFi. How did you get it to work?

I had a clean install of a10F with cam and audio fixes. to test i disabled my SSID broadcast, forgot my network rebooted wasn't able to connect. I then rebooted to recovery flashed cm9.a10F.test1boot.img.zip wiped cache and was able to connect.

im using a10f and data2ext and everything is working wonderfuly except for instagram, i know you dont support data2ext but everything else is flawless but when i run instagram and try to pick a photo from gallery it force closes everytime. just curious if anyone is successfully using it before i go to the trouble of re flashing w/out data2ext. i can upload pics from gallery to facebook just fine.

I just installed instagram, wow ~12 MB, I opened a picture from the gallery just fine and uploaded to instagram.

I'm using alpha10F and the camera test 5 patch. Also running the latest test 10 kernel, but that shouldnt affect any photo apps.

no patches installed here, think a10f was up to snuff at the time i installed it, i dunno i work alot and find it hard keeping up with progress here, will try the patches. thanx for checking for me, i'll let you know how it goes i am kinda an instagram junkie.

Has anybody else had a problem with the time syncing? Sometimes the clock on the status bar falls behind the time on the lock screen. My guess would be that it displays the last time that the phone was active. (Not dark, not at lock screen.)

I clean-flashed Alpha 10F, cm9.10F.camtest5, & cm9.10F.newaudiotest1. No clock problems after 1 day.

Nice ROM. Mega thanks to Kraven for his work. I can’t wait until this is ready for primetime.

Bug report below. (FWIW, asterisk items are my personal showstoppers for daily driver.)

New (I think) issues:
*SprintTV not working. (v.1.0.4.32). App launches, but when attempting to view a channel, the audio for the channel briefly comes on (with a black screen), but then it stops and the following is displayed, “This channel is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or contact Customer Care.” Note that it was working on Reborn ROM minutes before and minutes after installing Alpha 10F. I tried forcing it to stop, disabling it, and deleting its data, but that didn’t help Maybe I need an ICS-compatible version? Anybody know how to get and install one? (I don’t think you can just install this kind of DRM-app like you would a normal APK.)

Power-button ended a call even though I don’t have that option checked under “Accessibility”. (Maybe CM9 issue.)

SIPdroid notifications pulled down from the status bar show no text. Just the red, yellow, or green dot.

Confirmation of previous issues:
* WiFi Hotspot doesn’t work. When I check the box for the CM9’s “Portable Wi-Fi hotspot”, it just hangs, saying “Turning WiFi on…”. FoxFi (v1.81.3) fails with the error message, “WiFi mode has failed on your phone. Please use Bluetooth mode instead.” Quicksettings (v1.9.8p2) can’t select “On” for “WiFi Hotspot”. WiFi Tether starts with errors and doesn’t work. WiFi Adhoc enabler starts and seems to run, but does nothing useful.

* In-call speaker-phone not working.

* BT audio kinda works but glitches every second or so.

Adobe Flash v10.2 and the above-posted v11.1 for ARMv6 don’t work.

Brightness control in status bar doesn’t work.

Additional notes (maybe) of interest or help.
Swype keyboard (v2.6.48) didn’t work (as previously posted) so I installed the Swype Beta from their website. Very cool.

It took me a while to figure out that I had to uninstall Google Voice Search so that I could go to the Play Store and install it. Duh!

Apps that work (at least on cursory testing, at 806MHz):
Android Speedometer, Angry Birds, Browser, AnyMemo, Calculator, Calendar, Camera, Clock, Email, ES File Explorer, ES Task Manager, FX File manager, FX Text Editor, Gallery, Gas Buddy, Getjar, Goggles, IPCam, Lookout, Maps/Nav/Lattitude, Mortplayer, MusixMatch, MX Video player, No Frills CPU, Our Groceries, Pandora, Play Music, Playlist Make, Quick Settings, SipDroid, Soundhound, TeamViewer, Titanium Backup, Ultimate Stopwatch, Ulysee Gizmos, Where’s My Droid, WiFi Explorer Pro, WinAmp. YouTube (even high quality videos).

battery seems better in A10F with camera audio and latest bootimg than prior A10's. have also two times a day I have been turning in airplane mode and rebooting then turning I went from dead in 5 maybe 6 hours to having 42% unplugged at 8:30 this morning.
