Got everything to work but it was a real hassle to get ZVD revert, hope it was worth it :3

EDIT: Getting a problem where the wallpaper looks REALLY messed up like all pixelated. any fix?

I just put the stock ics wallpaper on my SD card then used quickpic to set them

From posts here sounds like thekraven has done some test kernel updates since pre4 was released. Adreno libs maybe more(?)

Here's the new CM9 music app called Apollo. Code just got pushed to build it. [App]CM 9 Music Player: Apollo - xda-developers

Just delete the Music.apk and push this to system/app and change permissions. 644

Edit: apparently still buggy as some graphics are not mdpi compatible yet.

something doesnt seem quite right. are you sure you are fully wiping /data /cache /system?
or your gapps download isnt corrupt? try redownloading gapps, the 4-29 version.
as for wifi, on 10g, mine was broken too until i rebooted. try a FULL wipe of everything. either use drews cwm port or if using xionia, use the debug zips. then flash the rom, then gapps. reboot, let it settle. toggle wifi, reboot again. see what happens.

I always flash the debug format zip after wiping to insure everything's gone... havent had a single problem in doing so

Yeah like that or via command prompt. Post 2 gives a template.zip to make a flash file. Just drop files in the correct diretories and flash with signature off.

There might be a way to combine the last two commands, but this is how i do it.

adb remount
adb push Apollo.apk /system/app/
adb shell chmod 644 /system/app/Apollo.apk

Yeah, the current iteration of HydroKernel **is** the problem there. Do everything over, WITHOUT flashing in HydroKernel. (And for good measure, follow the advice that folks had told me, lol.) That should help you out on all fronts, and you won't have to worry about HydroKernel screwing up colors and your wallpapers. And no worries - from what I understand, an update should be on the way for it, but the developer hasn't yet had the time to do it. (I personally anticipate it; even with the screwy wallpapers and colors, my Optimus S did seem to run just a LITTLE faster with HydroKernel active)

I notice you're using ROM toolbox pro, before I go do something I may regret, I noticed that it touts itself as a "Rom Manager", will this A. Kill my phone on sight (Like RM) and B. Brick that thing up if I use the ROM manager mode?

I usually just adb install

adb install C:\<path>\apollo.apk

and that's it. permissions handled

It doesn't seem to be too buggy to me. but i've only played around with it for a couple minutes. I'm endlessly intrigued by the fact that it pulls artist images from the interwebs....i'm excited to see where this app goes

By the way, if anyone was curious, I installed the s-voice app. It works...sort of. After the app opens, it'll listen once, and it'll do what you ask it...as long as it doesn't need any other input from you. After the first listen, it stops listening until you kill the app and restart it...unless i'm just doing something wrong (which i'm pretty sure i'm not).

It would be cool if we could get this working.

Just to let you know, With ROMToolbox, the rom manager requires the app, ROM Manager Premium to be installed to work. So yeah it will probably brick the phone. Just a heads up in case you thought about buying it for the rom manager part.

I've had this issue for a long time now, since they updated to Play Store. It comes and goes. Sometimes it goes when I do a total wipe and clean install; other times, it stays. I've tried every suggestion everywhere to fix it, including downgrading Google Play Store, clearing /cache and Dalvik, clearing /cache and Dalvik after I clear the app's cache and data, logging out of my account and clearing /cache, . . . all of it.

If anyone (and I mean ANYONE) has a new suggestion, hit us with it.
