Anyone trying these they are updating nightly through ROM manager I think. I have been getting the daily test ROMs from this thread:

[DEV/GUIDE][01/02 Build 2] Compile Cm7 on Evo | "GB - YAY!" | With Orange Kang! - xda-developers

Todays version really shows the speed capability of Gingerbread. This ROM is still very unstable lots of issues so don't post questions on how to fix things in this thread. NO ONE WILL BE FIXING ANY ISSUES IN THESE BUILDS JUST FALLOW THE PROGRESS. I am testing this daily just for fun so I will update in this thread when I have time. Todays build is almost stable enough to run all the time. I have however found multiple programs that don't work in Gingerbread if you load this ROM don't be surprised if some programs don't work. Hopefully the developers are working on getting there programs up to speed.

Thats all for today,
Dave

Flash it and see how you like it, nandroid first.

Its mostly stable, but missing alot of cyanogen goodies.

If you want to keep current you have to load and test every day I am downloading todays mix now. Biggest issue I have found is that some of my favorite apps font work not sure if its the ROM or just a gingerbread thing. Everything seams to work but I don't run these ROMs all day I just load and test for a few hours then Nandroid back to Cyanogen 6.1.2

Check it out,
Dave

Big D5,

Are you using clockworkmod for recovery? Mine keeps giving me troubles today.. If yes, Are you using 3.0.0.5? Mine keeps showing 2.6.0.1 are the most recent in rom manager. I have been wanting to try this and just having fits with the rom manager today for some reason.

I'm running 3005 clockworks but I don't use ROM manager to load the ROMs I download to my SD and install manually.

If you are going to load the Google apps be sure to boot the ROM let it install complete to the home screen then go back in to recovery to flashing. I got the boot loop when I tried to install both one after the other without booting.

Hope that helps,
Dave

That was it, many thanks! I am off to discover. ;)

Latest version runs well but the GPS is still not working. It will pinpoint your location but wont fallow you as you travel. There is a lot to like here though just not quite stable enough use all the time.
