[ROM]GB 2.3.4 gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][2.3.4 Beta]

Ah I see.. Yeah if you know of links to a all in one that includes the 11.19 radio or maybe the radio setup you have listed in your sig I'd appreciate it man.

Yeah, I was finally able to post something. Just got home from a very long day and really only had time to keep up with the thread through Tapatalk....was killing me...lol. Wasn't trying to answer the question being asked of you before you could answer, just got excited. :-) Anyway.....to answer your question SP.....

Hardware Version: 003
Kernel: 2.6.37.6 cyanogenmod (ROM's stock)

What can I say about this ROM that hasn't already been said. It's absolutely amazing, by far my favorite one I've flashed thus far. I have had zero issues with it until 1.2x. Now for some weird reason every time I get a text message from Facebook I'll check it, but most always it comes in two or three more times. Hopefully it has been fixed in 1.2y and beyond, anyone else run into this problem? I'm about to flash it and see what happens. Other than that I am 100% satisfied with this ROM and all of it's offerings...especially the battery life. :p

Hey guys, just found something on the thread at XDA that could help if anyone is having any data/gps issues. I'm just gonna copy and paste the post.

"Thought I would put together a little package.
This package is a .rar
Download and extract to it's own folder.
There are instructions located it a .txt file within rar

This should fix any Data and GPS problems you have.
Some of you may know all this, but maybe this will be a little easier for those that don't.
If you want to do the gps fix flashing to sense but not sure what you exactly need to do, I have added the zips necessary along with some more detailed instructions.
Some steps can be skipped if you are current or if you don't want to be current it is your choice. But I have done it exactly as the instructions I outline, and have great results. I have perfectly working gps and data. Hope you can achieve the same.

This package and instructions will allow you to clear gps data, update profile, update prl, as well as update to the current radio, wimax, pri, and nv."

EVO_Data&GpsFix.rar - 209.4 MB

Big thanks go to mattsm from XDA for the fix. :D

Kernel 2.6.37.6 cyanogenmod (Stock for ROM)

I tried Tiamat 4.0.1 (I believe) and my battery didn't last as long as with the stock kernel cooked into the ROM. On the stock kernel I've gotten about 23 hours of battery life before hitting 15% and that's with having SetCPU governor set to conservative.

I found the older radio package through ROM Manager and flashed them. Thank goodness. The battery issues seem to be solved for me doing that.

The battery life I've had on this thing has been amazing. Usually if I'm sitting and texting my battery will drop a few percents within 10 minutes, but I'm sitting here now and it hasn't dropped once after some back and forth with friends. Wooo. Still on 1.2v btw.

Is SetCPU the only governor you've used? I was wondering if anyone has used the built it governors and had gotten the same results.

Sent from my evil hideout. MUWHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Yeah, just SetCPU. I've never used the built-in governors before.

Mine is set on conservative also. But what do you have the Mhz set at?
I usually have mine around 650. Still only get 10-14 hrs on a charge.
Unless I'm playing a game that needs more speed then I'll boost it up to 1000 - 1100.
If I go any higher my phone resets???

I have it set at default (960 max, 422 min). I haven't getten into scaling them too much besides bringing down the max number a little bit. I read that some phones act different to sifferent settings so it's possible for some to reset.

So if I have flashed a different kernel then those settings shouldn't hurt or help me correct?
Just asking cause it was set to 652 and my phone has been creaping along today and now I changed it to 998 and it seems to be moving faster than it has been.

My apologies for the absence, I was in a poker tournament and just loss my *** off...lol. Anyway....if I'm not mistaken the in house governors should be able to scale whatever kernel you flash as long as it has prefs lock off. I did set the built in one to conservative and my phone's battery hasn't dropped 1% in about 2 and a half hours. :-)

Do you guys have any profiles set in setcpu? I have been messing with this for four days. May be I am a heavy user, but I only get about five hours after a full charge.

I don't have any profiles in SetCPU. Are you browsing, texting, talking a lot on your phone?

Same as Dubs here. No profiles, I just set the CPU to conservative and my battery wins all day long. :-P

OK so here is what I'll try.
Uninstalling SetCpu and will try the governors in the rom and see how it does.
So far today 5hrs and used 40% of battery so we will see how the rest of the day goes.

I had my governor set at conservative and my screen off profile set at 245 min and max. My system usage was 68%. I tried going to interactive. No matter what I try I only get about 5 hours unless I don't use the phone often.

Yes...I browse a lot and text a little. So the battery life that you guys get...does that mean you don't use the phone that often? Is the phone idle more than it is being used?
