[ROM][GB][5.23.11]Das BAMF 2.0-5

Recent apps aren't there unless you install the patch for it. The toggles aren't the same either since it's uses the newer since version which has them under another tab in the pull-down.

So there is a patch to put recent apps back in the pulldown window for BAMF 1.6.3? If so can you provide a link? I was not able to find that on xda and uninstalled bamf because I use that feature heavily.

Thanks

Hey guys, I have the 2.0 remix, and want to go back to 1.6 with the issue popping up. Problem is when I connect my phone and choose disc drive it enables but won't show up on my computer. Any ideas?

Reconnect the phone and select internet pass through. Let drivers install. If that doesn't work try rebooting the phone while it's connected with USB.

A reboot of your computer also wouldn't hurt.

Went through the thread at xda which is now 28 pages long. Based on what I read, there appears to be a real chance that the leaked Gingerbread radio can brick your phone permanently. While das BAMF 2.0 has been running fine on my phone, I have decided to return to DB 1.6.3.
I am reading through the XDA thread right now, Not a chance I will be trying this ROM out... I don't want to risk it bricking on its own...

I thought I already turned my Tbolt into an android "ipod" after reverting back to 1.6.3. Lost my 3g so I couldn't make any calls, send text or go on the web, etc.

Then I went to my settings to check what's wrong. I noticed that my baseband, PRI, PRL and ERI were gone or didn't restore correctly.

So what did I do? I went here to see if installing back my stock radio (that corresponds to 1.13.605.7) will work back again. And glad I did or else it could've been worst.

Just giving a heads-up out there for those of you who encounters (or will encounter) the same problem that I had (downgrading from 2.0 GB to 1.6.3 Froyo) :)

Does simply flashing 1.6.3 stop any possible bricking from GB? If not, do I have to flash a different radio?

If you're running GB now, you will need to flash a Froyo radio from here first: [RADIO] The Obligatory Thunderbolt Radio Thread - xda-developers

Then boot up and ignore any warnings force closes you may encounter, and then boot into recovery to restore your previous froyo nandroid backup, or install a ROM. Wipe data/caches 2-3 times minimally before doing so.

1.13.605.7 is actually the radio associated with the OTA update, so if you have problems with it, you could even flash the 1.12.605.6 version (pre-OTA radio). Either way, it's the radio, not the roms, causing the bricks; so, you definitely want to flash back to a non-gb radio.

Actually those are not the radios, it's the base software which the radios run off of.

Stock radio: 1.16.00.0223r

New radio: 1.16.00.0402w_1

Don't want to come off as a know it all or anything, because I'm definitely not

And thats what I did, except that I matched with whatever I had (which was 1.13.605.7) :D

Yep, I've just been explaining to a bunch of people that they need to flash the radio in order to disable bricking, so I thought I'd put it out there. Also thought I'd clarify that either of the two LTE radios (as long as it wasn't the gingerbread version) would work.
