[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

#18 is up - Looks like some Framework fixes and VPN fixes.

nice

no fcs with 17 and i thought it ran smooth. of course, they've all been pretty smooth since like 7 anyway. ;)

PVILLe - i see your sig "#winning" like ten times a day its still funny

Happy to see the buildbot up and running fairly consistently again. Although things are slowing down as the CM team has hit the 'feature freeze' portion of development. No new features being added for now. Bugfixes, yes! Should be approaching official Stable build pretty soon. Although we can all attest to how stable the nightlies are! ;)

So do the updates not show up in the rom manager? I have been checking for updates but it always says I'm up to date but I'm still on 13. Any ideas?

The nightlies are being built by hand for now. The BuildBot used to update the ROM Manager manifest automatically, but whoever is doing the nightly builds is not.

You can download from here:

CyanogenMod Mirror Network - Powered by TDRevolution

I'd bookmark it in your phone's browser for easy access.

19 is up

YAY!!! 19 is up and running :) i am not on the level to understand the Gerrit's... SOOOO can anyone tell me any noticeable changes to the Inc in 19? (other than slayhers added changes for the display auto-brightness.) gracias for your help. Hope you all have a great day :)

So, I flashed 19 and everything seems to be fine... in fact, after I do a flash, I always turn my phone off and then back on (don't know if it is neccessay but I do it anyway)... MY POINT... is that usually after a dalvik wipe it takes longer for my phone to boot up, but this time it booted up extremely fast. would anyone know why? not that it matters i just would like to know :)

Chad's updated Kernel :)

FYI.... check it out... I copied and pasted directly from XDA
this is the official link to the XDA thread regarding this info (would be good if everyone read through it; youll learn ALOT)

below is the official link to the updated kernel

03/13/11
Patched up to 2.6.37.3
Any wake issues should be fixed ;)
Audio boost -> according to XDA posts, this audio boost is supposedly amazing too :)

--this "should" help with having to press the power button a few times to wake up the phone... should :)

Yesterday my browser force closed and then almost everything started force closing. everything was running very smooth for weeks. I checked for an update, saw there was build 19, so i updated, and stuff still crashing. Mostly googleapps. My gmail wont get mail anymore and gtalk wont sign on, browser closes too. Funny thing is firefox works. Looks like its google built in apps. About to uninstall gmail and others to see if it helps. Any other suggestions?

Are you using the newest version of gapps? Have you done a full wipe and tried everything else possible? If so the only thing I can think of is that you don't have the newest version of gapps... It can be found on the first page of this thread. Let me know if this helps :)
I'm sure other people will chime in to try and help you... good luck

I'll tell you 1 thing for sure, Since updating to that new kernel version that I posted in a few posts earlier, The increase in ear audio is absolutely amazing I can hear everything everybody says so much better... This is now my absolutely favorite build they have done yet.. CM7 kicks butt.. When I get paid this week I am definitely going to donate to them they absolutely deserve it!!!

I don't think I'm using the newest version, but i'll download and try it, I haven't done a wipe either. Everything started happening last night right before Movie night with wife, so I couldn't mess with it :). I was thinking of doing a wipe too. Just getting all the feedback from people so I can have a game plan for when i get home and play with it tonight. Thanks!!

Don't forget a nandroid backup :) Before you do a full wipe Just download the newest version of gaps and flash that to your phone and see if it helps but make sure you definitely do at dalvik and cache wipe. A full wipe should be your last resort.

Also try and do it through recovery mode and not rom manager (I'm just assuming that you are doing it through rom manager)... Keep me posted
