You know it would be so much easier if they put an SLCD indicator under the battery with everything else!

Kind of like when Anheuser Busch stopped putting the specific brewery on Bud's because people were looking to avoid breweries where the water was not as "good." LOL

also without sunglasses needed you can :

go into a dark room and load up an image with a lot of black in it. If it's completely pitch black in the black areas of the image, you've got AMOLED. If you can see some light bleeding through in those areas, it's SLCD

I just did that an absolutely no light bleeds through the black areas. So I'm assuming that I have an amoled screen, But I could of swore when I rooted my phone that it said I had an slcd

My phone totally glitched out this morning. It froze when unlocking then proceeded to open literally every icon on all my screens. Lucky it let me turn off but nothing a battery pull wouldn't have fixed .. anyone else run into this I'm running #27

It is an app called " ShootMe" by johan Cloetens... It is by far the best screen shot app out there... and obviously you have to be rooted, which you are so no worries. also I use picasa app to upload my screen shots to my photos tab in my GMAIL acct. then I can access them and put them on the screen like you see there

and... all you have to do to take a pic is litteraly shake your phone in your hand and it takes a screen shot pretty sweet

To add to this you can also make short vids too.

are you overclocking your phone? what kind of kernel are you using and what is it set at?

Is there anyway possible to get the date to show in the status bar at the top of your screen, using cm?

Pull the notification drop down box and the date will show but you probably already knew that hahaha (I saw it in your other thread )

Yep... lol The only reason I ask, is because somebody else brought the same question up in another thread... And if I am using an app or something it would be nice to see the date if I need to, Instead of having to close the app out just to see the date

If it's a Friday or Saturday and it's dark out... Look to your Left, then your Right, if there is no one there then there is no "Date." No need to close an app!

Mine did the same thing today, but I was just going into the settings. Had to bp. Just like the old BB days, of course that was on an official OS . Running #30. Not overclocked.

I am having a lot of glitches and FCs lately. I may load RC2 tonight and skip the nighties.

I was having some very strange issues with my phone as well on number 30. (As you can read a few pages back)... I reflashed a fresh 28, and now my phone is working better than ever no problems at all , and my camcorder works too...

Also I never overclock too. my settings are smart ass 128-883

quick question when GB gets released to the incredible by verizon, what do i do? cuz i think im going to want an official release. i used winamp with screen off and my battery died in 5 hours... LOL!! thats lame i have a 3500mah in there. that should not happen..... grrr, think im going back to stock untill the release...... which leads me to this...

When VZW releases 2.3 for the INC, if ever, you could always unroot and take the OTA update for it. Or just flash a rooted release that I'm sure will pop up shortly after the official.

In reference to MIUI, all it means is that MIUI is no longer Froyo based, but now 2.3.3 based. Also meaning I might actually try it now haha! Although the chances of me leaving CM7 are slim to none

I tried it for a while today. For whatever reason, the market was acting up and wouldn't initiate downloads, or I would have tried it for a little longer. It wasn't terrible, but I wasn't really impressed, either. After CM7, every other ROM I've tried seems kinda restrictive.

Are you using the stock radio? I get much lower speeds, and if there was something easy to fix it, that'd be nice.

what does that mean?

If you killed a 3500 in 5 hrs with only music playing from your SD card... then something else is going on. Some other app is running and sucking the battery. I don't listen to music on my DInc but I have taken 6 hr GPS nav trips after using the phone all day and only had to plug in for the last hour.

Did you look at the battery stats in Spare Parts and see what process was running the longest?
