Finally had a minute this week and flashed 58. Looks good and operation is smooth. I was almost tempted to try skyraider but i'll have to save that for when i get a few days off work or something.

OK - So I was in West Virginia today and I was roaming on Extended Network (it's a Sprint area). I could recieve calls, text's and 1x data, but I could not make calls. I have System Select set to Automatic and roaming enabled in Mobile Network Settings, and I did a *228 Roaming table update just a few days ago. Has anyone else been on an Extended Network and not be able to make calls?

That's a strange one.... I live in an area that gets great 3g and 4g coverage, but sometimes I drive through the boondocks (not very often, I live in a metro area) but when I have I noticed that I was roaming or extended and had no issues making calls or recieving calls...

Keep me posted if you figure out the fix to the issue or a reason why...

Think I figured it out, with some help from XDA. I had switched from EVRC to EVRC-B many moon ago when I was on Sense. So I quick flashed Virtuous, did the ##778 routine and switched Roaming back to EVRC. I have to drive out there to test it but I'm pretty sure that's it.

Lots of new changes in the next build - new kernel, 2.3.4, the changelog is down at the moment but whenever the next build happens there should be lots to play with.

For those interested - switching the roaming from EVRC-B to EVRC worked. I was able to make calls in the extended network today! Yeaa!
