[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

sup seth hows the tbolt treatin ya
Actually, it is running pretty good... ALOT of people are complaining about the recent OTA that verizon put out for it, but I havent noticed any change... And this time I actually made sure there were NO cosmetic issues with it :) I am going to rock stock at least until the hotspot promo is over then I will consider rooting it. Im just not sure if I want to debloat or go with a whole new ROM completely... and I just got an email from a local chick that wants to meet up with me and look at my Inc. I hope she knows what ROOTED means... cuz i was very specific on the craigslist add about everything done to it :)

 Soooooo... I take a weekend off to marry off my daughter and you people break CM7!

;) ;) ;) But, Thought you'd like to know there is a bug in 76/77 with the softkey backlights - fix submitted for the next build. #75 works.

Just finished installing nightly 79. I do believe the soft button backlight bug has been fixed. :D

The only problem is that I finally updated Clockworkmod earlier today and now my MIUI camera is broken. :( I downloaded the version for the latest version of CWM and Clockworkmod says that it installed but when I boot up my phone it isn't there. I'm going to reflash it and see if I can get it to work.

EDIT-I tried flashing the MIUI camera three times but still can't get it to install. It's too bad too, the MIUI camera is awesome.

ANOTHER EDIT-I powered my phone off, turned it back on, and there was the MIUI camera. I don't know why it wasn't showing up before, but it's all good now.

The MIUI camera is far, far superior to the stock camera. It doesn't have as many settings as the HTC camera, but the pictures I've taken with it look great. I do have one small complaint though, I have to turn auto flash off or else the camera freezes and then reboots my phone whenever I try to take a picture. But not everyone has that problem, so your mileage may vary.

I just had something rather odd happen. I was moving my old nandroids around and the screen timed out. Then, it wouldn't wake at all for about 3 minutes of periodic checking. Thinking a battery pull was in order, I called it from my work phone to verify it was frozen, and it answered. Then, after the screen locked again, it wouldn't wake up for another minute or so, and then it finally cleared up and is working like normal.

I am thinking it was an issue of the phone being under load, but I wanted to see if anyone else was having any wake issues.

I am running 79 with the stock kernel.

Are anyones "unread" notifications working? When I get an email, text, when I miss a call, I don't see the little indicator on the icons notifying me. Yes, I know it is in the notification tab, but there are settings for it in ADW Settings > General Behavior > Show notifications and Bubble font size. *shrugs*

Nerver used them in ADW - I don't think they're enabled. Beautiful Widgets has a icon count notifier. I used it for a few days and then removed it. I felt the notification bar was cleaner. There are other Icon/count apps in the market as well.

Never used them in ADW - I don't think they're enabled in this version. You could try the full version of ADW. Beatuiful Widgets has an option as well. I used it for a few days and decited I liked the cleaner look of the Notification bar. There are other apps in the market that will do this as well.
Hope this helps.

#80 seems smooth - just went through the last few days of merge to see what's been going on. Not much, all backend cleanup for us anyway.

Just got back on CM7 from Skyraider 4.0 and hopped up to #80, my MIUI camera is works! I keep a copy of CWM 2.5.xx on my SD just for flashing this everytime I upgrade my CM7.

This is probably a noobish question, but how do you keep a copy of Clockworkmod on your SD card, and where can I download it from? I eventually got the new MIUI camera to work...after flashing it five times.

It's the "attached file" at the end of this post (in the middle of the page).

Just download it and leave it on the root of the SD card. It temporarily gives you clockwork mod 2.5.xxx so you can flash certain ROM's and for me in particular the MIUI camera. I think there's a MIUI that flashes with 3.0.0.8 but I didn't have much luck with it.

Boot to recovery>flash the temporary CWM .zip>important step, DON'T REBOOT YET, do your data wipes>flash the camera or what ever file you needed to flash THEN REBOOT.

After the reboot you'll be back to CWM 3.0.xx but the .zip of 2.5 will still be there on the SD card if you should need it and don't feel like searching around for it.

This is not my post, I only found it on XDA and it's worked well for me everytime.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently using the MUIU camera .zip for CWM 2.0.0.8, and not having much luck with it at all. But the one for the older version of CWM always worked perfectly and now I can use it again.
