Nightly 81 is up. I just finished flashing it and so far so good. And I was able to get the MIUI camera working right away with the help of Wanda and PvilleComp (Thanks, guys. You're awesome.) so it's all good. Go. Download. Flash. Marvel at the awesomeness that is pure Android (Good Lord I'm a nerd).

It's been 7.1 for a while now. I guess they are getting rady for a stable.

I was going to stay on 80 for a while, but it looks like there is some really interesting stuff in 81 (option to choose in call option just like lockscreen sounds pretty awesome, as does configurable AM/PM styles). Anyone play with any of the additional features yet?

I haven;t tried any of the in-call options yet but I did play with the AM/PM settings. It's a small thing, but surprisingly nice to have.

I just now took a look at the new incoming call settings. If you prefer the rotary or rotary revamped style lockscreen you can now set them to be your incoming call screen as well. Personally I prefer the standard AOSP pull tabs, so I had to set my incoming call screen back to that since it's now on rotary by default.

I really like the small AM/PM option. I played with the call answer thing a little, and am really glad they included it.

The other really crazy thing I noticed is that ADW doesn't appear to be baked into the ROM anymore (ADW settings not included in the overall settings menu, etc). Not that it's really a big deal, but I kinda wish they'd left that alone, since ADW is my launcher of choice, and it looks like they're moving to launcher2 instead.

Edit: Oops. I am totally off base on the ADW thing. I also installed Launcher Pro this morning, and that is what removed the ADW settings. It does look like this might be on the table for the future, though.

I would actually like the option to use the stock launcher if I so choose. I have both Launcher Pro Plus and ADW EX, so I would switch between the three. Anyone who wants the free version of ADW back can simply go download it. Honestly if I had my way Cyanogenmod would come with the default launcher by default since ADW is in the market.

If your talking about the lockscreen call options they're under cyanogen>lock screen.

Thanks bra...methinks that big 4.3 screen is a tad big and Winston Salem isn't getting LTE anytime soon.

I came back to CM7 from Skyraider 4.0 cause there wasn't jack happening on that thread...battery life be damned I'm CM7 for life!! Or until someone puts together a Gbread/Sense 2.0 ROM and has the customization of CM7! (I can dream right?)
