[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

The latest HTC 07.07 "Gingerbread" radio has been working really well for me. Don't know if that's the one you went with, but you might want to give it a shot.

+1. 07.07 has been working great for me. But then again, my phone did not like Nil's 3.0 v2.2 either.

+1 .07.07 here too. Works like a champ.
Just restored my Nandroid of 166. It's like, I'll leave for a Sense ROM... Then I'll realize that those features in Sense aren't adding any real value and I'll flash back to CM. HaHa

Just curious if anyone's heard anything about HD (720p) recording being implemented into CM7 now that the 2.3 OTA has been officially released. I don't expect it tomorrow but does anyone know if it's even a possibility at this point?

720p will only come when HTC releases the source code for our Gingerbread OTA. I'm sure the CM team could reverse engineer it from the OTA, but since source will be released anyway there is no point for them to do all that work. It will most likely come soon enough.

So since Gingerbread (rooted) is available for the dinc now. Will they change the CM7 nightlies based off that OS ?Instead of froyo which it had been ?
When I comeback to CM7 I will need to know which OS I need to be on.I assume it will still be like it when I was flashing nightlies up to #168  but not positive.
The last CM7 I was on was #168

CM is already using 2.3.5, I think DInc is getting 2.3.4 so you'll be past them already once you load a nightly.

IMHO, there is nothing that the OTA has that's going to get me away from CM7. Sense is not that important in my OS of choice.

CM7 is the best as far as ROMS. . IMO. They CM team puts a lot more work into their releases than most other groups that develop! Carry on nightlies.. CM7 till my phone dies.. or they release cm8. hehe:cool:

I gotta agree! Recently switched back to it on the DInc and now running it on the DX! It's nice to be running the same ROM regardless of device.

I just installed the SDSpeed App. What does this do exactly in terms of faster transfer rate and what does the "cache size" refer to and what should it be set on. If I'm guessing correctly the higher the number (kB) the faster the sd card transfer rate?

excuse me if this is a stupid question just a little confused.

Thanks in advance

I know we are not supposed to ask...but it has been two weeks since there has been a nightly update. Is there a reason?

Kernel.org got hacked in August and is still offline. Most of stock Android cones from there. Cyanogen had tweeted about it a week or so ago. No eta or any news for that matter from Linux Foundation, which is who operates kernel.org.

I'm still running 151 since it was the last build I had where the Bluetooth still worked without killing calls after disconnecting. Hope they are working on that while they are down. ;)
